About this deal

Addicted to You is the first book in the Addicted series. We are introduced to Lily Calloway, a shy young girl with an embarrassing secret, and her childhood friend Loren Hale, a wealthy lad with a deep affinity for alcohol. Lily is a sex addict, thanks to her compulsions, she engages in steamy hook-ups and one-stands that only leave her with regrets. The only person who knows about Lily’s secret is Loren, the man Lily has been pretending to be in a relationship with for the past three years. Lily is a sex addict. Lo is an alcoholic. They're both trust fund babies and long-time childhood friends. They live together and they've been pretending to be a couple for like 3 years so they can keep doing all of their problematic stuff. Look I stood with what I said but once I really dived into this series- I understand now and I'm just so in love with lilo- so yeah don't come at me for this 😌 Want to read a romance novel that will take you on an emotional roller-coaster, the Addicted to You book is an ideal choice. The storyline is unique since the hero and heroine all have deep-rooted issues, but in the end, love seems to be winning. The pace is perfect, the cast is impressive, and way the story is told can only mean that you will have a hard time putting down this book. I watch Lo, and I start to see a new future. It’s there, still blurry, but it looks brighter and better. I just wonder if it still includes me.”

But when they go on a family boat trip, surrounded by open seas and limited male bodies in sight, Lily’s confronted with a big fear. Only one guy onboard can fill her addiction, and she’s sworn off going there with Loren Hale ever again. Lo and Lily’s relationship was the epitome of toxic. The moment Lo had given Lily a pass; assuring her if she ever cheated on him it was okay, because he knew at some point she couldn’t help herself. I was a goner for them and their deficient bond.Lily and Lo- Lifetime friends. Addicts. Lovers. Liars. And two of the most dysfunctional/flawed but amazing characters I have met. I want to love you more than I love this”—he waves his bottle—“and I don’t know how else to do it unless there’s something to lose.” I was a little hesitant when I started this, knowing something as serious and intense as addiction isn’t something that is considered easy to read about. But the writing and characters (ESPECIALLY the side characters) drew me in and kept me there.

I mean is she serious right now? The fact that she’s refuses to talk to Loren about his addiction IS putting her at the very center of the problem. Together, they'll fight for their happily-ever-after against odds greater than themselves. The series spans years of time. Watch Lily & Lo grow up, grow old, and ultimately grow together because in the end, there's no Lo without Lily. No Lily without Lo. The addition of Connor and Ryke in the last half of the book brought some life and entertainment into the mixe with Connor’s pragmatic humor and Ryke obstinacy to help Lo. The family drama that literally exploded at the end was ten time more ravaging then what I predicted. I honestly can’t wait to devour the rest of the series.Did this book marketed as romance? If not why did I get that impression? Not sure why- I'm sorry if I got the wrong impression because I'm sure this is not a romance book. Family and strangers are suspicious about their relationship, and as the couple works to overcome these challenges, they realize that they are also addicted to each other. The journey to recovery starts when Lily and Loren’s purpose of helping each other overcome their flaws. While it is easy to tell that the couple will encounter more challenges if they choose to stay together, it is adorable that they’re dedicated to helping each other.

Our selfishness wedges between us. Neither of us is willing to give up what we love for each other.” i would be lying though if i said that i didn’t root for them the whole time. they really have great chemistry as a couple and they belong together. yes, they’ve made mistakes and their relationship is far from perfect, but despite everything, they care so deeply for each other and you can feel the love between them. near the end they realize that they can’t be on that destructive path anymore and that they need to make changes. they know it’s the right thing to do, even if it hurts both of them. of course i was happy and proud seeing them making progress, but i still cried a lot reading the ending and seeing them being separated from each other. i didn’t thought that i would cry since it’s a reread and i already knew what was going to happen — well, i was clearly wrong. it shattered my heart all over again. First off, let me just say that both of the main characters are completely screwed up! Lily is a sex addict, sleeping her way through her early-twenties like there's no tomorrow. Meanwhile, Loren, aka "Lo", is drinking like a fish. Both of them are completely out of control. listen, listen. im a newbie to this whole fandom/series and i don't know anyone so bear with me. i originally wanted to just read the Calloway sisters series for Rose and Connor because i've been seeing tons of edits of them and i'm currently in a mood to binge read another series so i was like ehh why not, it's not like i have exams and papers coming up and it's not like i have an exam in an hour or so right??to numb the pain he felt, he started seeking relief in alcohol when he was only eleven and this is heartbreaking, i just wanted to give him the biggest hug. and seeing how severe his addiction was hurt my heart so deeply, but i liked the way it was portrayed because it felt realistic. Lo’s life didn’t revolve only around alcohol though. taking care of Lily and make sure she wasn’t getting hurt by any guy was another priority he had. it was sweet to see how much he cared for her. 🥹 all in all, this is a good book. not something that i’d call a masterpiece (and that’s why i’m not giving it five stars) but it’s good. and even though i said i enjoyed it more in my second read, it still is least favorite in the series. i noticed that a lot of people don’t like this one and for that reason they decide to not read the others, but i would definitely recommended to not stop and continue. the next ones are so much better and far more interesting, y’all won’t regret. the whole series in general is really awesome. Addicted to You is the first book in the Addicted Series by Krista and Becca Ritchie. It is the first book to follow Loren Hale and Lily Calloway's romance. Addicted to You is a story that is just that- addictive. I can’t imagine finishing this book and not needing to dive right into the next. I can’t believe that I’ve waited this long to read this series, but I’m kind of glad I did. I can binge read them all now. :D
