About this deal

The most prevalent indications of lungworm infections in dogs pertain to the heart and lungs. Some dogs may experience a sudden onset of coughing, difficulty breathing, an inability to handle physical activity and/or passing out. Some may just experience a mild, persistent cough that can remain the same or suddenly worsen. To treat your dog for lungworm, buy worming tablets for puppies. Do dog wormers cover lungworm? Droncit (praziquantel tablets) are indicated for the removal of the following feline cestodes: Dipylidium caninum and Taenia taeniaeformis. RETREATMENT: For those animals living where reinfections are likely to occur, clients should be instructed in the steps to optimize prevention, otherwise, retreatment may be necessary. This is true in cases of Dipylidium caninum where reinfection is almost certain to occur if fleas are not removed from the animal and its environment. In addition, for control of Echinococcus multilocularis, a program of regular treatment every 21 to 26 days may be indicated (see E. multilocularis section below).

Most cats & dogs need worming 4 times per year, but some will require monthly worming, whilst others may need treatment less often. Please consult your vet to assess the risk level of your pet and to plan a suitable worming regime. And to help you in choosing the most relevant Dewormer for your pet, below is the comparison of Droncit, Drontal Plus, and Revolution. Droncit v/s Drontal Plus v/s Revolution Droncit :-

DIAGNOSIS: Diagnosis of E. multilocularis in canids is difficult. The adult tapeworm produces no clinical signs of infection. Tapeworm segments (proglottids) are usually not observed in the feces.
