It was one of those books when all of the children laughed at the same time (and I didn't get it) and I laughed at other bits. When he accepts a mission to reach one million subscribers in one year, it becomes clear that he has bitten off way more than he can chew, and his life becomes one epic fail after another. There's nothing thirteen-year-old Adam wants more than to become a successful YouTuber, but it has always seemed impossible.

Adam wins the internet is actually a book about Adam, with himself as the main character and with lots of laughs and lots of emotions is a thought-provoking enjoyable book for kids and early teens with some great graphics too. As if by magic, Adam is thrown into a world of fame, fortune and hotels with really, really, really fancy TVs! For Adam this isn't only the stuff of dreams - he has one friend, no camera, and no money - hence no chance of becoming anything famous, let alone an internet sensation.And how do you stop an evil villain from sabotaging your dad’s world-changing technology when in this universe your dad doesn't even know who you are?
