Description

There is quasi- transgressive mixture of hopeless passivity and coquettish sexuality running through songs.

Among the youngest bands ever to storm the metal genre, Death Angel has come to be known as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the thriving Bay Area Thrash Metal Scene in the early 1980s, an era when one could catch Cliff Burton ( Metallica) at the front of the stage at Ruthie’s Inn banging his head to Death Angel’s inventive style, and speedy, complex arrangements. According to Metacritic, Ultraviolence was 13th-most frequently mentioned album in critics "year-end" lists in 2014.It is inspiring and it showcases the spectrum of human nature and how humans communicate with each other.

As others have mentioned, later versions with the square sticker and “masterdisk SH” in the runouts sound significantly better than the early reviews of this pressing. A notable departure from her orchestral and Baroque sound, the album features stronger, electric-guitar-based instrumentals. In October, Del Rey said about the prospect of a new album: "When people ask me about it, I just have to be honest—I really don't know. While we don't come to classic thrash LPs for the notoriously great sound many other artists at the time had the finances to produce, the gritty attitude and, dare I say, soul of these recordings is what makes them astounding. He felt that the album was "gorgeous and rich", and much more cohesive than the earlier Born to Die. I rate this song 10 african tribes/10 african tribes, and will never listen to it again as every time I get saddened by the the fact that there will never be a song to match this masterpiece.
