This book is a Briant starting point for many silly and engaging activities getting children to discuss their monster best friend. withlots of smelly socks, mouldy cheese, bellybuttonfluff and a good fight to get them giggling, this is aguaranteed favourite.

I really enjoyed this book, it is great for younger children to read because it is not to word heavy and the text is clear. These is clear message of persistence and to not judge by appearances and is a good one to get boys to read independently. Tickets for this beloved show are expected to sell out quickly, so be sure to book your Monstersaurus! The seafront is (still) just around the corner, and I find a bracing walk (it gets freezing when the East wind blows from the North Sea! In this book he tries to create a monster he initially gets it wrong and makes a slimy monster then panic's and accidentally make a dust monster.I never really felt this story went anywhere particularly interesting and whilst it did flow well to read I found it a bit boring to read as well. Come and join young inventor Monty as he experiments and creates a whole world of whacky inventions, including some incredible monsters.
