I highly recommend this, my girls who are age 2 and 4 have been using this and it has been mostly helpful with my 4 years old as she’s due to go to school in September . I can’t say enough good about these books pens and the little grippers that teach you proper pen holding techniques. and of course he's showing off practicing one line with his right hand and the next line with his left. Not to mention my son actually like to practice his writing and asks for his "ink book and magic pen". As yet, they haven’t used the set but it looks good quality and I’m hoping will help get them excited about writing and also drawing shapes correctly.

She looks forward to practicing in the books, especially the drawing one, since she is very much into drawing.It was definitely worth the money it is also helping to improve his self-esteem he's very proud of himself! These books are such a tremendous help and I know they will continue to be for the next coming years. Such a great tool to help my kiddo with their writing skills and also to learn numbers and letters as well as fun doodles. A better option would have been a retractable pen that you can keep the finger placement on all the time, it’s dangerous for my younger child and easy to misplace.

In just one use she got the correct placing, but it’s not meant to be used with the pen style provided, you need to remove it each time you want to close the cap of the pen and it broke for us on the first try to remove it. My little one will be going into kindergarten next year and it’s important that he is well prepared.

I noticed a big improvement in my 5 year old son's handwriting in less than a week of using the workbooks! He often doesn't like new things and prefers his own routines but was immediately interested in the books. The fun rubber pen holders are great, but would be even better if the pen was retractable or the holder could move up the pen to allow the top to go on without rmoving the rubber holder. Way more complex than the letters and numbers so that should tell you just how good this product is!
