Both mice are from the same manufacturer so they have mostly the same features and design philosophy. Another mouse you could look at is the Pwnage Ultra Custom (I don’t have any personal experience with that one but I’ve read a lot of good things on that one) and perhaps the upcoming Xtrfy M4 Wireless/ That said: the Model D Wireless is definitely a great gaming mouse so if this seems interesting to you there’s nothing holding you back from going for it.

The Model D Wirelesshas a number of exciting improvements over Glorious’ earlier mice, but I think the improvement that most fans are looking forward to the most can be found in the QC department. In collapsible menus below that, you can set and save the Model D's RGB lighting zones’ colors and behavior. I am supposed to receive a review copy of it but that still hasn’t gotten here so as soon as I do I will get to work on testing it. colours and eight effects to choose from (customisable via software or on the switch on the mouse) you can choose the exact colours you need. Shape is the most important factor for a gaming mouse though so I would suggest looking up some images of both mice to see what you like best.I’d say both are fine (the EC1 -the newest version- is preferred over the EC1-B though) and almost the same though the cable and feet on the Model D feel better to me. Weighing only 69g, the shell shape has been contoured to provide excellent comfort while reducing strain and fatigue. Equipped with a state-of-the-art BAMF sensor, designed in collaboration with PixArt, this lightweight mouse is incredibly accurate with pin-point precision.

I do love it when my peripherals are capable of being true plug and play, but optional software for those fine or outside-the-box adjustments is always a plus in my book, so the inclusion of this straightforward piece of software is a nice touch. The S is a completely different shape so it’s kind of difficult to really compare the two, but the Model D is quite a bit bigger than the S1 and also longer and higher than the DeathAdder so if that was too large I don’t think this would be the one for you.Not just stylish, this framework keeps your hand fresh, improves grip, and allows the RGB lighting to vividly shine through. The 1000 Hz polling rate and the large PTFE mouse glides help ensure flawless tracking as well, across just about any surface you are likely to use. Obviously we’re talking about the Model D Wirelesshere, so what the software does to my keyboard isn’t exactly relevant, but it is an example of how it needs some work. This sensor can be set to a sensitivity of up to 12,000 CPI and has a max velocity of “250-plus” IPS and can handle up to 50G of acceleration.

While the six-button layout does limit its potential for MMO players, there’s no reason it can’t be used as a Jack of all trades for pretty much everything else - particularly if you’re happy handling macros on your keyboard. Its six-button layout is intended very much for shooters, and it’s in shooters where our testing primarily lies. There’s also almost no give at any point when applying pressure to the shell (with the exception of the back part of the shell flexing a tiny bitwhen applying frankly abnormal amounts of pressure) so it’s good to see that Glorious have also been improving on this front.
The Model D and EC2 are obviously really close as far as shape goes, if it’s between those two I’d choose the Model D because of the lighter weight, better cable, and better feet. The scroll wheel in this model, as with other Glorious mice, has a notched scroll style and doesn’t feature inputs by nudging it to either side. The shape of the Model D is obviously very different from what you get with the Model O, but the overall design ideas stay the same.
