About this deal

While it has its good points (which we’ll talk about later), for me it was just too subtle, even on my lily-white skin.

After a few days of use I started getting a lumpy rash and then it begun burning and went bright red. Went back to the doctor and he gave me a high steroid hydrocortisone cream which has started to work. It intensely moisturises and gradually builds a natural looking bronzed glow in harmony with your skin tone. It was touch-dry within about twenty minutes, although still a little “tacky”, which made me wary about slipping into my skinny jeans too soon after application.

As they contain a lower percentage of DHA (tanning agent), they are ideal for building up a colour as opposed to an immediate dark finish.

I used this product as I had a wedding to go to, after the 3rd application I noticed I got a really itchy rash behind both my knees and in inner thigh, at first I thought I may of been a heat rash.He explains, “They work in the same way as all self-tans, meaning that they react with the skin cells to create a darkening effect.

The rash then got so bad that once my friends wedding came I may of had slightly tanned legs but with horrific red rash behind both knees and inner thigh. Developed for the sensitive face area, our formula with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E offers very high SPF protection to help prevent sun induced dark spots, while protecting skin from pollution induced oxidative stress.I continued to use the product as it took a few days to work out what was the cause of the rash as it continued to worsen. The first time it happened I didn't link it to the product however having taken 6 weeks for my skin to settle I used it again on Saturday and realised the link having looked up the product and reactions on the internet in desperation. I used to think the rash was worth the colour but the rash began to last days after the tan was completely gone and that's when I realised it was seriously damaging my skin. Told to take those for a week, ended up not being able to turn my neck as the rash was so sore; had a repetitive cycle of being sore, scabbing over, peeling and then sore again. Gradual tans are great to take on holiday, to keep up the spray tan you may have had prior to going away.
