About this deal

The characters are generally witty, intriguing and their dialogue and interactions with eachother were generally very captivating. This is the tendency of white people to either consciously or subconsciously separate themselves into ‘good’ white people, who are not racist; and ‘bad’ white people, who are.

It caught me in emotion, the way these characters come together, find strength, believe in each other and plot twists unravel. Odd abilities quickly begin manifesting inside of Killian, which catch the lethal attention of this dangerous secret society also looking for these relics, however just to destroy his home realm, which they view to be an abomination. I’ll definitely continue to read the series (mostly because I have no idea how this is going to span across another 5 books) but also because there seems to be a lot of potential. Self-Reflection and Inner Work: The Curse of Shadows and Thorns is often associated with unresolved emotions and internal struggles.I really struggled to envision how the world looked as it read as a country at times or as a small city in others. After reading some real dark smut in recent weeks, this was like a soft kiss to the temple at the end of a first date. Themes of Sacrifice and Redemption Elara’s quest isn’t just a physical journey—it’s a spiritual and emotional one as well.

It is important to note that the Curse of Shadows and Thorns, being a mythical concept, does not have universally recognized signs or symptoms. I’m currently reading the third book as I’m writing this review and I can see this series making it to the list of my favorite fantasy reads. Overall this start to a series shows promise and I am intrigued and interested in seeing where this goes.It serves as a testament to the power of stories to illuminate the human condition and inspire introspection, while encouraging a pursuit of harmony that transcends the boundaries of the real and the mythical.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, it kept me very engaged, interested and I could not put it down. Its corruptive influence seeps into the hearts of its inhabitants, magnifying negative emotions and fostering an atmosphere of distrust. This might be a fantasy novel, and alt right imagery in itself does not mean that the author must be alt right, but the themes and issues discussed all have real world connotations and impacts. When Elise agreed to break a vicious curse over the man she loved, she never imagined he was a lost fae prince.

Legion is by far my favourite character as he is the most complex and developed and the things he says and does are swoon inducing. Instead of just telling her the whole truth he insists she asks him questions and he will answer honestly. Seek Professional Assistance: If you believe you are under a curse and find it challenging to break its effects on your own, consider seeking professional assistance. While I do have minor issues with lack of clarity on certain plot points and poor world building and development of ideas, there is one glaring issue that I would much rather talk about - the way this book deals with race.

It is important to approach these practices with an open mind and consult with professionals who can provide appropriate guidance and support throughout the process. There was never any doubt in my mind that he was evil but it would have been cool to explore his character. In book one the writing felt a little bit off, in book two it was definitely better, a few things were still off, but it didn’t bothered me. It is crucial to approach these remedies with an open mind, understanding that folklore and personal beliefs may influence the effectiveness of any method.
