About this deal

The car was officially shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017, and was originally known as the Opel and Vauxhall Crossland X. They send some vibrations back into the interior, most obviously through the gearlever, but you can also feel the steering wheel and pedals buzzing at times. The Mokka X can be had with large alloy wheels and four-wheel drive, and is pitched as a rival to the Nissan Juke and Skoda Yeti. The CO 2 figures display a range to reflect the highest value for the highest emitting version with all available options added, through to a minimum value to represent the lowest emitting version in standard specification.

There are several engines to choose from, as well as a choice of automatic and manual gearboxes with a used Vauxhall Crossland X. Business Edition Nav cars have climate control, ambient LED lighting, front foglamps and automatic lights and wipers. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the offer details are accurate and up to date, Vauxhall reserves the right to change offers at any time.On top of the boot's size, it's also usefully square and Ultimate trim comes with a height-adjustable boot floor. Being more spacious and better equipped than the class average gets the Crossland X part of the way towards success, but the mechanical substance, apparent quality and dynamic finish of this car aren’t equal to what we’ve seen from the Vauxhall Astra and Insignia. While this engine can handle long drives, it is best suited for city driving, as the turbocharged versions offer more power for extended journeys. Inside, you'll find Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display for full smartphone functionality.

The steering is on the light side, but while it could do with more weight at higher speeds, you’ll find it help during low-speed manoeuvres. Its boot measures 410 litres with the rear seats up, and that expands to 520 litres with them moved forward. The freshly updated Crossland is a better-looking car than the one that came out in 2017, with Vauxhall’s ‘Vizor’ front-end styling treatment as seen on the smart, all-new Mokka (get used to that new face, because before long all Vauxhalls will look like this). Storage space is not as generousas it is in the Skoda Kamiq, but you still get plenty of trays and a couple of cupholders.

There's lots of steering-wheel adjustment – for in and out as well as up and down – and seat height adjustment. Some of our partners may process your data as a part of their legitimate business interest without asking for consent.

Vauxhall initially offered the Crossland with a variety of trims as well as personalisation options to tune the car to your tastes: SE was followed by SE Nav Premium, SRi Nav, Elite, Elite Nav and the top-of-the-range Ultimate Nav.Whilst, the speed sign recognition alerts you to important speed signs, encouraging safer and smarter driving with every journey. Ultimately, the Crossland is beaten on rear space by many small SUV rivals, including the Ford Puma, the Nissan Juke and –most convincingly – the Kamiq, which offers an astonishing amount of space for its size. It’s a good-looking setup, with the centre console horizontally aligned to the driver for added functionality. The Vauxhall Crossland is a spacious, practical and economical family car that now offers loads more style and desirability thanks to a thorough overhaul in 2020.

However, the 110hp version of this engine is more popular – making up around 50% of sales in SE specification – but we didn’t enjoy driving that one as much. This article includes a list of references, related reading, or external links, but its sources remain unclear because it lacks inline citations. With a bit more power, it pulls keenly from around 2000rpm, so there's no need to thrash it to get up to speed. On the road, the Crossland X delivers a relatively compliant ride that shouldn’t give you too many problems over poor road surfaces or bumps, even with the larger alloy wheels. There are six trims available with the Crossland X: the SE, SE Nav, Trim Line Nav, Elite, Elite Nav and Ultimate. The navigation system’s mapping is better than that found in plenty of Peugeots and Citroëns and destinations are particularly easy to set. The VW T-Roc is wider, so if you prefer to have more distance between you and your passenger, that’s worth considering instead.
