Description

A new side-line camera angle and drop goal camera allowing for closer simulation to a real broadcast view. This is new, yet we found the side-line camera to be difficult to play with in terms of passing and spacial awareness. NEW! AI formations and improved positioning of players making the game more realistic and challenging for those experienced rugby heads. Player fatigue is basically non existent, what's the point in using the bench when the players barely tire. (at least have a slider for it) ALL-STAR COMMENTARY Real sports broadcasting commentary with Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall. French commentary by Eric Bayle and Thomas Lombard.

If you've played RC3, then you'll already be pretty familiar with the game, as there's not a great deal different from that offering and the way it plays in terms of controls and general feel is pretty much identical.

Real sports broadcasting commentary with Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall. French commentary by Eric Bayle and Thomas Lombard. At the moment, I'd say it's too expensive for what you get. If it comes down in price or goes on sale and you really want a rugby game , then go for it. It's still fun and if you enjoy the Rugby Challenge series you'll get more of the same. It's enjoyable having all of the updated teams, kits and players, which makes a difference but the gameplay just hasn't seen enough progress since RC3. A game that doesn't crash when you have edited teams, it's all good and well having a fanhub but if you can't use it to fill squads without it crashing it's basically pointless. (no point having a good career/be a pro mode if we can't use it. ) As is expected, all the licenced teams have their up-to-date kits, which look great and also nice to see some non-international players get the proper likeness treatment, such as Sean Wainui and Solomon Alaimalo at the Chiefs.

Including the all new Womens 7’s Rugby, Premiership Rugby, Super Rugby, Mens 7’s Rugby, and Currie Cup - or even create your own! Où puis-je mettre ceci: Placez ce fichier de votre choix aux côtés de vos autres mods dans « \Steam\steamapps\common\Rugby Challenge 4\Rugby\Content\Paks » Excited for this, Obviously there will be things out of their control which would be unrealistic to expect, like full licencing. I'm not going to put any major things like set plays/massive improvement like new game modes etc. Of course at this point It's probably too late for these to be implemented, so hopefully they did some queries around what problems people faced before they started on this game. Played an hour of Rugby Challenge 4. It’s like they noticed the thing people talked about most from the previous games were the glitches, and decided to double down. It’s remarkable how much glitchier, judderyier, more broken, and less fun this is than RC1 from 2011.

The focus for Rugby Challenge 4 has been to build on and improve the gameplay of our previous rugby games while retaining its essence with the use of the original signature animations, now spectacularly enhanced by the Unreal Engine. The game play is seriously fun and free flowing, if it weren't for these small ****les that keep letting it down it could be a really good game, but it seems to constantly have these same issues. Fingers crossed for a less glitchy game this time around. NEW! Side-line camera angle and drop goal camera allowing for closer simulation to a real broadcast view. A similar story to scrums, with no change being made to running gameplay. The developers claim that the positioning of players has been improved, yet we will see players running aimlessly to the side during gameplay.

Scrums appear to be very much the same as they have been in previous instalments of the game. Personally, it seems like a lot of work would be needed to create a new way for this to be done. We feel this is a very clunky way to play out one of the key resets in rugby, however. Sound is still pretty average and the commentary doesn't seem to have been touched, outside of new player names. For English language, it's Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall yet again and again they sound far too wooden for a game on this generation of hardware. It would have been nice to maybe see a change, possibly Scotty Stevenson from Spark Sport (NZ), just to give the game some freshness. As has been mentioned elsewhere, this is a 'Early Access' version, though the majority of the modes are included from the start, except online play and some career enhancements. As it's currently digital only, I'll mention that it's around 22GB on the PS4, so a pretty modest file size. In terms of licensing, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the majority of the top 10 rugby teams in the World were included. On the licencing front, strangely enough the Sunwolves, Jaguares and Waratahs are all unlicenced this year. Not sure why, as I was under the assumption that all Super Rugby was licenced.
