About this deal

Finalist at Chicago Show - Easihold was a finalist in the best product category at the International Garden Centre Convention, Chicago, 2019. And key to this simplicity is the way that EasiHold is applied. Unlike conventional resin bound surfacing, the binder component, ie, the resin, is not pre-mixed with the selected aggregate, so there is no requirement of a forced action mixer, no need for messy cleaning solvents, no demand for specialist rakes, lutes, floats and spreaders. It’s so simple it can be used by homeowners, DIYers and gardeners with no complicated training. Zen-style garden - ideal candidate for EasiHold We recommend using 2 applications of Easihold when applying by the Pour On or Spray On method for the strongest finish. Ensure that the first coat has been allowed to fully dry - and don't saturate! a 40 mph storm came through. The wind was so bad it crushed the rose bushes and blew petals all over the grass but the mulch didn’t move a bit! I finally The 1 litre sprayers are ready-to-use without any further preparatory work. When working with the larger containers, a required amount of the EasiHold liquid resin can be decanted into a simple sprayer or a basic watering can, topped-up as and when necessary. The EasiHold resin comes in a variety of container sizes

Protects Stones - Easihold coats and protects stones, leaving an attractive protective silk sheen which helps prevents staining over time. Weather-resistant glues are designed to retain their performance characteristics in extreme weather conditions, such as high temperatures or moisture exposure. Selecting an adhesive with superior weather resistance will ensure that your project is less likely to suffer from premature degradation due to environmental factors. UV resistance We recommend to top-up your Easihold fixed stones annually to maintain stability and for an even more robust finish, we also produce a range of resin-bound surfacing products. Easihold coats the stones in a thin film, and leaves the stones capable of being penetrated by water as normal. Vulnerable projects, those at risk of being disturbed by over-eager kids or excitable pets should be fenced off for the first 24 hours or so to prevent the still-curing surface being disturbed.Where the decorative aggregate is being placed over a bare sub-grade, a construction grade geo-textile could be laid before the gravel is placed – it’s not essential but it will prevent any mud or dirt ‘pumping up’ from beneath and discolouring the gravel in months to come. Step 3: Mix the mulch glue. Most mulch glues come in a concentrated form that needs to be mixed with water. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the correct ratios.

Easihold will work on a patio which isn't to receive furniture. Easihold is great for occasional walking and light traffic. But for a busy patio, or a patio with furniture, we would recommend our Resin Bound Kits. Easihold provides a protective sheen, but doesn't create a wet look. It would be more described as a matt / silk sheen. Once you have the materials and ingredients, it is very simple to make mulch glue. Pour your desired amount of glue into a bottle, a squeeze bottle for small jobs and a larger garden sprayer for landscaping projects. Our resin-bound products are market-leading with incredible strength and are available in a variety of colours. Resin bound surfacing is recommended for areas that take heavy loads such as driveways and pathways or garden furniture areas. The longer Easihold is left to dry, the better. Ideally Easihold would have 48 hours of good weather to dry in - that will give you the optimal result.

If the gravel is dirty then yes. The gravel doesn't have to be perfectly clean, but a hose to clean away the worst of it would be a good idea. We recommend maximum of 1 litre per 2.8m² per coat and 1x5 litre Jerry can cover 12-14m² using Spray On Method per coat when applying by the Pour On or Spray On method for the strongest finish. Ensure that the first coat has been allowed to fully dry - don't over-saturate! Price is one of the most important factors to consider when purchasing mulch glue. Generally, high-quality adhesives tend to cost more than lower-quality varieties. It is essential to find a balance between quality and price to ensure that you get the best value for your money. Quality

Not all stones are suitable for Easihold application. Stones between 4mm and 10mm in diameter work the best, but even stones up to 20mm can work well if angular and clean. You can read more about suitable stones in our blog here.Another key factor to consider when selecting a mulch glue is its quality. High-quality adhesives are formulated with strong bonding properties and provide superior performance over time. It is important to look for adhesives that meet certain quality standards, such as ASTM or EN certification, to ensure they are reliable and safe to use.
