About this deal

If you desire a certain Craft Card but are unable to pay for it, you may put the card in Reserve. Take the Craft Card you want and place in a Card Holder. The card is now in reserve. Skip card – This card can only be played on a card of similar color or symbol (another Skip). When you play this card, the next player loses their turn, and play moves on to the following player, who must then match your Skip card with a card of the same color, or another Skip card. If turned up at the start of the game, the first player becomes “skipped” and loses his/her turn. If you choose to craft as an action, you trade in your resource cards to acquire a Craft Card. The Craft Cards have icons on them that designate how many resources are required to craft that card. Also, the Craft Cards have a Game Point Value and Crafted Tool associated with them. The points are what you add up to win the game, and you may use the Tool during game play (more on that later).

Players "mine" Resource Cards, and then use those cards to "craft" Craft Cards. When you "craft" a Craft Card, you earn points. TNT: If a player mines a TNT card, it must be played immediately. The player must then take the top card of the other four resource piles, but are only allowed to keep two cards; only resource or "Wild" cards are allowed to be kept. Then, the TNT card and the other two cards drawn are put into the discard pile. The Minecraft card game is much easier to play than you might think. However, at first glance, it can look not very clear. This is because there are many cards included, similar to classic board games like Clue or Monopoly, so before we look at the rules, let’s outline the various cards. Resource Cards When cards are blown up due to a TNT Card, sacrificed due to a Creeper Card or traded in when Crafting (more on all of this later), they go into the discard pile. All cards in the discard pile are placed FACE DOWN.On their turn, a player may perform 2 Actions. Once you have completed your 2 Actions, it is the next player's turn. Second, you have the TNT card; this explosive card must be used straight away if it’s mined. When used, you must remove the four cards from the other resource piles. You can keep two of the cards and must discard the others. Sword: When a Creeper card is revealed, a player can use their sword to avoid losing a Resource Card. If a player decides to mine a resource card, they are to take one resource card from the top of one of the five resource card piles.

Shovel: When a player uses this tool they will choose another player who will lose one of their actions on their next turn. Wild cards have a number allocated to them as well. So, for example, a wild two-card can be used as two of any resource. However, the resources can’t be split, so they cannot be used as one stone and one diamond. Shuffle all the Resource Cards (Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Wild, Creeper and TNT). Next, deal them FACE DOWN into 5 piles of 15 cards each. Then turn each pile OVER so that all the cards in each pile are now FACE UP. The goal of every player is to discard all their cards before anyone else, and the general strategy is to impede or slow down other players from doing so.Note: There Will Be One Craft Card Left Over. Set It Aside As It Will Not Be Used In The Game. This Will Become Your Discard Pile. When you have mined the required resources, you may use an Action on your turn to trade them in and get the card out of reserve. Place it with your other crafted cards.

For each Craft Card that a player gathers, they will gain access to a tool. Each of these tools have their own unique power. These powers can be used at any time and using them does not count as an action. Once you have used a tool you will flip over the Craft Card to indicate that the ability has been used. The tools will provide the following abilities to players: Shuffle all resource cards, and then deal them face down into five piles of fifteen cards each. Then, turn each pile over so that all cards in each pile are face up. On each player’s turn they will get to perform two actions. Actions that the player can take include: If you choose to mine a card, you take it from one of the resource piles and add it to your hand. Resources come in numerous different types, and some are rarer (and thus more valuable) than others. CraftIf a player decides to craft, they trade in any resource cards they have available to acquire the respective craft card (e.g. if a player wishes to obtain a craft card with three diamond icons and two wood icons, they are to turn in their resource cards that are equivalent to two wood and three diamonds to "craft" it; however, if the player's resource cards don't match the required resources exactly, the player is allowed to "overpay" for the card, but is given nothing in return). If you want to craft something, you first will need enough resources to do so, and this can be seen by looking at the craft cards. So, to craft something, choose the craft card you want and trade in the required number of resource cards.
