The other type of amiibo is a Spirit. Any amiibo that does not correspond to a fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will scan as a particular Spirit and add that Spirit to your inventory. Bottom line from a collectors point of view is these are nicely detailed items which carry the Nintendo tag. Making them a collectors item from release. In 10 years they will start to hold a value 5-10x the cost. Reason for Rarity: Sold out in stores in North America; much higher than retail price for Japanese versions online ZeldaToThePast : Similarly, I would love an angry Resetti amiibo. Nintendo have downplayed his rage as they think he's frightening to children... Toads-Friend Maybe, Nintendo will release it for Mario Party Superstars – at least I really hope so, here!
