About this deal

Are the Thrustmaster TFRP pedals compatible with the Logitech G Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and Throttle? Reply For our value selection, you can't do much better than the Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals, or TFRP. Weighing at just under 5 pounds, the construction consists of steel and aluminum, which makes for a rugged piece of plastic. Compared to the other two pedals on the list, the TFRP Rudder Pedals are angled towards you, which allows for comfortable, albeit less realistic flying. The heel rest can also be removed, allowing you to control the rudder with different parts of your foot. Again, it's not the most realistic flying position, but it's perfect for staying comfortable during long flights. Logitech’s G Pro Flight Rudder pedals measure 17.8 x 14.4 x 9.1 inchesand weigh 5.07 lbs. For an authentic flight experience, the set of rudder pedals features a self-centering mechanismand differential braking system. While the former’s name gives it away, the latter deserves some further explanation. Differential braking enables users to control the left and right toe breaks independently, hence giving them greater control over the aircraft’s motion. Other notable features of the G Pro Flight Rudder Pedals include, but are not limited to:

Best Overall: Logitech G PRO Flight Rudder Pedals excel with their adjustable damping and superior customization. Running the sim on an i-7 3770K, GA-Z68XP-UD3, 32GB DDR3, RTX 2070 OC, 2TB PNY CS900 SSD, (3) 1TB Mushkin… This largely depends on your usage and budget. High-end rudder pedals usually offer more precision, better build quality, and more features, enhancing the realism of your flight sim experience. However, there are also budget-friendly options that provide good performance for their price. Final Verdict My Logitech throttle quadrant and my Thrustmaster rudder pedals plug into the Logitech yoke system...Visually, the Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder is very different from the other pedals. It departs significantly from the traditional flat layout most pedals exhibit and instead chooses to prominently display the "PENDUL_R" mechanism — and no, that's not a typo. PENDUL_R refers to the rudder pedal arms that hang from the top of the device.

As mentioned already, the pedals offer plug-and-play functionalitywith most flight sims- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, X-Plane, DCS World, and P3D being a few of the notable names. They are compatible with an array of operating systems including Windows (starting with Windows XP all the way up to Windows 10) and macOS (although you would need appropriate MAC drivers). You can also use them with your Xbox and soar the skies with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. If you want something done right, do it yourself… or at least, let MFG help out a bit. These pedals are designed for the armchair pilot who needs every degree of freedom from their equipment. One strange omission from this set is the ability to adjust the tension. While the default tension is fine, it's definitely something to keep in mind for those who want complete control over their simulation equipment. Thrustmaster also offers calibration software to customize the TFRP's performance. You can adjust the TFRP to change where the dead zones are, or eliminate them altogether. You can also alter these settings separately for each axis of movement. but the rudder is behaving strange in meaning of over steering. When doing a normal taxi roll, it seems that they are working alright, but when I accelerate during take-off roll, just a little pressure will make the plane go crazy and yawing in all directions (all planes). This is leading into an uncontrollable aircraft state and most of the time ends into to crash. This set of pedals also offers tons of customization options right out of the box. For starters, the pedals can be adjusted into five different positions, at angles between 35 and 75 degrees. The spring positions can be adjusted to fine-tune resistance to your preference. In addition, you can combine your device with other Thrustmaster devices so that they are recognized as a single USB device, and load or create specific profiles for each game using the Thrustmaster Advanced pRogramming Graphical EdiTor, or T.A.R.G.E.T (this one is kind of a stretch, isn't it?).

I also started a google search and someone was recommending heavy duty Velcro Attach the hook part to the pedals and let it grip the carpet. While they are comfortable for use, setting them up is a real hassle. The floor mounting system is downright terribleand the pedals slip, especially on smoother floors. Sure, they come with Velcro strips but those are ineffective on the carpet and who uses them on bare floors? One solution to the problem is to put weight behind the pedals, somewhere in the range of 20 – 30 lbs. That’s exactly what we did, and it worked well. A more permanent and better solution would be to bolt the pedals to the desk. Verdict:Perfectly imperfect, Logitech’s set of G Pro Flight Rudders leaves you wondering how good a peripheral it could be if only it had a slightly better build and a fairer price. Most newer rudder pedals connect to your computer via a simple USB connection. The more complicated your setup, the more plugs and adapters you’ll have to manage. I’m thinking about mounting them on plywood and the adding large rubber bumpers on the bottom, but I don’t know if that will work or if they will still slide around.
