About this deal

Keiki Paste is a powerful tool for plant enthusiasts who want to keep their plants healthy and thriving. By promoting the growth of new roots and leaves, it can help plants recover from stress, pests, and diseases. When used properly, Keiki Paste can be a safe and effective way to keep your plants looking their best. Plant enthusiasts started experimenting with Keiki paste on other plants, such as Philodendron, Monstera, and other houseplants. But what is it? This is a question that gets asked more often than not, so I decided to write a blog post dedicated solely to ‘ keiki paste’ – I hope it answers your questions! After the procedure, the orchid is immediately provided with conditions suitable for the active growing season. If you continue to keep it at a low temperature, moderate watering and practically without fertilizing, the plant may die, being forced to direct its forces to the formation of new shoots and offspring to the detriment of everything else.

There are several important things to get right to increase your chance of growing a keiki. Plant Age Stir the paste again. The shelf life of the finished product is 3 years. Store it in a closed dark glass container with a tight-fitting stopper. It is best to place the jar in the refrigerator, but another dark, dry place that maintains a constant temperature of 5-15 ° C is also suitable. The flower stem on my orchid comes up from the middle of the leaves and there are no nodes. Previous flower stems appear to have come from the base (they have all been cut short and are dried). I do not have facilities for sterile laboratory procedures. Can I still use KeikiGrow Plus for propagation? Find a spot for your pothos and keep it there for the next 2 – 3 years. This place should provide your plant with ideal growing conditions: bright indirect light, moderate temperature, and humidity levels of at least 50%. If you move the plant in the meantime, it will take a while to adjust to its new growing conditions, which may either delay or interrupt the process.

This is fantastic and has sped up the process considerably. I recommend trying a cytokinin-based Keiki paste on your aroids, although it is hit or miss from my experience. I found Keiki paste to work best on Monstera and Philodendron plants when there already was a sign of a new growth point. Some people want to apply keiki paste on a rootless keiki to make it grow roots, while others want to use rooting hormone to propagate shrub cuttings. Once the paste is ready, apply a small amount to the desired nodes or aerial roots of the orchid plant using a clean brush or cotton swab.Cut the Keiki at the Keik stem below the roots with a sterile knife or scissors, as the roots will be needed for the baby plant to develop. A different way to propagate orchids would be through pollination. In nature, this happens through natural pollinators, whereas in cultivation, you must hand-pollinate the plants. Scratch the kidney lightly with your fingernail or needle to allow the drug to penetrate the tissue, but very carefully. If you don’t have clingfilm or moss, you can even just leave the spike standing in a jar of water!)
