PeapodMats were designed to be very easy to use and are perfectly suitable for tumble drying. If you opt for air drying and find that the mat is too wet after wash, you can try putting it through an additional spin cycle in your machine. Medium PeapodMat is strongly recommended up to 3-4 years of age. Please keep in mind that these is only a recommendations, if your child is large for their age at 3-4, you may need to consider a larger size. It might be worth mentioning too that lifting children for a wee isn't generally recommended. It saves the sheets, but also just teaches them to wee while they are asleep and doesn't help the bladder learn to hold for longer periods of time. I’m not particularly concerned about this, he’s still young. He’s perfectly happy to wear a nappy or pull up at night but for the last couple of months he seems to leak through them almost every night! While it works well for my children, adults or anyone who moves around the bed frequently during sleep may need to double up on pads or consider a different option, like a waterproof mattress protector. So I’m looking to get some bed wetting mats in the hope that I won’t need to do a full sheet change every time.
