Description

You can incorporate external mono/stereo effects or build parallel audio chains using the MIDI connectivity for send effects. Not only is it a powerful multi-effects processor, the Zoom G11 also doubles up as a versatile audio interface, allowing you to record directly into your favourite DAW (digital audio workstation) via the USB connection. USB DEVICE: Connector USB2.0 Type-C / Supported cable Type-C cable GuitarLab USB1.1 Full SpeedAudio Interface USB2.0 High Speed, 44.1 kHz/32-bit 4in 4out• Use cables for data transfer. USB bus power not supported.

Razor Drive delivers novel distortion textures, employing comb filtering to control saturation by boosting the filter, and consequently distortion, at each frequency point of resonance. Looper for recording up to 30 seconds / 64 beats of CD-quality audio with seamless start and end timesTo make its amp models sound as authentic as possible, the Zoom G11 comes loaded with 70 cabinet impulse responses that can bepaired up with any built-in amp model. Achieve convincing mic'd up cab tones with these amazingly-detailed simulated speaker sounds. And if you want to use your own impulse responses, there's plenty of space for you to import them with130 free preset slots! Key Features

Five of the footswitches (and their respective knobs) are always dedicated to "pedals in the chain", allowing for real-time adjustment of any/all parameters with no menu diving - just like on a real pedalboard! My understanding is the DSP modeling tech on the G6 is identical to the G11 (in terms of sound quality, not necessarily "number of effects in a single patch"). For those of you who have tried both the G3n/G5n and the G11, is the amp modeling performance very much improved? The models in the G3n are acceptable, but if I'm buying something in the 400-500 dollar range, I'd certainly expect a significant improvement in that area. Being able to bring in your own IRs in the G6 will no-doubt bring with it some improved sound overall, but I'd love to hear your thoughts It's true that the G11 'exists in its own space' among premium modeling devices. When you take into consideration its aesthetic, features and price point, where does it really sit? Is it competing with the Helix LT, or the POD Go? The Boss GT1000 or the GX100? Is it a viable alternative to something more pricey, like the Fractal FM3 or Neural Quad Cortex? In my opinion, the answer is "all and none of the above at once". It really comes down to your priorities as a musician. CONTROLS: Touch screen, Master output, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, Volume, FX pedal knobs x 20, FX pedal footswitches x 5, footswitches x 6, treadle I understand that I'll make the best decision by just trying everything out, but none of the stores in my area carry these multi effects units :( x Simultaneous FX: Razor Drive, Wave Shaper, PolyShift, Geminos, SwellVibe, Delay, Fuzz, Octave, Wah, Rotary and more
