About this deal

Quintessential Quintessential is a Cornish family run business. They’ve been making the UK’s first and best loved smoking roach tips since the early 1990’s using various environmentally friendly papers including FSC, Recycled and 100% Pure Hemp, tree-free papers and vegetable based inks.

In 1942, the Rizla brand revolutionized the world of rolling papers when the Lacroix brothers acquired a patent for applying gum to the edge of rolling papers. This new feature solidified Rizla's position as a leader in the rolling paper industry, placing them at the top of the market.Rizla added a new paper to its lineup in 2003, with the introduction of the Rizla+ Silver, Ultra-Thin, King Size rolling paper. In 2003 the UK Advertising Standards Agency upheld a complaint that Rizla+ had alluded to their products' association with cannabis in a print advertisement that bore the caption "twist and burn". Cuban Cigars Cuban cigars are amongst the most famous cigars in the world. Here at Johnny’s Tobacconist, we offer a wide and extensive assortment from all the major Habanos cigar manufacturers whose emphasis is on a quality product.

The taste is lighter than you find with many other brands, and we like that the corners are cut to simplify the rolling method (especially in the dark). Little ash is left while burning too. In 1906, the company offered new flavors of menthol and strawberry, which had not previously been on the paper market. Rizla also introduced gummed papers in 1942 and was the pioneering brand of king size papers in 1977. These papers are medium gauge. You get the good burn properties of the green and red papers but with so much of the overpowering flavour. Blues come in small, king size and king slim too. They are easy to roll with. Silver RizlaThe year was 1865, shortly after a big change to the papers, when the brand name Rizla+ came to be. The papers switched from being made of tissue to rice instead, which prompted the name “Rizla+”: “Riz” is the French word for rice, while “La” stands for the Lacroix family name, which literally means the cross in French. Hence the name of “Riz La +” for the brand. As the papers are commonly known as “Rizla” today, this review simply uses the shorter name.

Billions of the papers have been sold across the globe, and the company has made claims that if all papers bought were to be laid out across the world they would reach from one end to the other 52 times. This accomplishment is indeed massive. Rizla’s ReputationJuicy Jay’s Rolling Papers - A review of Juicy Jay's rolling papers: flavors, sizes, history, and more.
