About this deal

This story hooked me with the heartbreak and pain of two wonderful characters’ traumatic childhood and unbreakable bond. Jay, T. & Janschewitz, K. (2012). The science of swearing. Observer, 25(5), May/June. Retrieved 18 June 2013 from tinyurl.com/cw9fxnc A lyric about protecting yourself –So, we all know that Drake had an unplanned baby. While he certainly doesn’t regret sweet Adonis, he does know to advise others that protection is the way forward.

A lyric about friendship – From friendship breakups to cutting out fake and toxic people in his life, Drizzy feels like a weight is lifted off his shoulders. Just remember this lyric when your bestie does you wrong. A lyric about forgiveness – When his fellow rappers called off their beef (like Kanye West), Drake retaliated with this verse, telling them it’s too late. He won’t let bygones be bygones, and if you hold deep grudges, too, this lyric is for you. Cause your words don’t match your actions like a foreign film / And now it’s ‘Silence in the Lamb’ like the horror film” My family had always lived in Neeble. My dad had grown up there, and his dad too. They would commute to New Clayton together when the factory was still running, starting and ending their days together the same as Jax and me. They were good friends and good men—at least that’s how I remember them. And we had a nice life for a while. My father called what we had at the end of that road a little slice of heaven. And it was . . . for a long time. But if there’s a real heaven here on earth, then there has to be a hell too. Jax and I learned that the hard way.I loved the relationship between these two main characters. They were great together as friends, but as lovers they were simply wonderful. I loved the way they cared for each other and the way they supported each other no matter what. Their bond was fantastically written and so unbreakable. As the story progresses you can feel how strong the connection between them is and how much they still love each other.

After years of torment from Mikey and Alex, I hit my breaking point when quiet, reserved Jax decided to join in on their juvenile idiocy. A lyric about competition – The “throne” may be alluding to Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne record, implying that Drake’s ready to steal the rap crown from these artists. Regardless, this lyric is great to use when you’re competing for the win. A lyric about your possessions – Now, we all know how much respect Drake has for his mother, but we had no idea his other big love was his bed! If sleeping and family means this much to you, this funny line is all yours. A lyric about fakery –Drake is pretty much exposing other rappers for lying about their past experiences, here. But you can use this line in other situations, like dealing with fake friends. Y’all will get exposed one day.All in all, I learned a lesson from it though, you never see it coming, you just get to see it go." A lyric about winning: A paradoxical verse where Drake once again boasts and brags about himself. Drake says he’s not the “best” at what he does, but he’ll come out the winner regardless of the competition. A lyric about money – Again, Drake boasts about his bank account because well, it’s a recurring theme in rap music, right? Great to use when loneliness gets the best of you.
