El libro no es, como digo, la gran cosa. Es un: voy a esta fiesta, pasa esto y luego voy al instituto y me encuentro con este, y luego mi vecino me dice noséqué y voy a nosédónde, etc. No paran de pasar cosas, hay giros y es entretenido. ¡Es que no buscaba otra cosa! Eso sí, tengo que decir que las escenas sexuales se convierten en monótonas y algo similares entre ellas. No siento que sean el punto fuerte de la novela para nada. De quedarme con algo, me quedo con la evolución de Ares Hidalgo y el misterio y morbo que suponen el resto de hermanos, así como las relaciones de los secundarios entre ellos. Amé a Dani y Apolo, así como a Claudia, por lo que estoy deseando conocerles mejor en A través de ti. Tu pareja te ha sido infiel y como eres un ricachón amargado que decide no dejarla, amargas la vida a tus hijos, pero la culpa es de ella, por alguna razón del siglo pasado que no perderé el tiempo ni en discutir ni aceptar. Y no me entiendan mal, yo adoro los libros súper hot y llenos de salseo, pero cuando realmente todo va de la mano con una trama bien construida y llevada. Aquí nada se salió de los parámetros normales, no hubo giros que me sorprendieran e, incluso, me pareció que el tema de un intento de suicidio que mencionan en el libro se trató como si fuera algo sin importancia. Y ya está. No hay nada novedoso en esta historia. Para mí, fue un libro más de adolescentes bebiendo, yendo a fiestas, retándose con alcohol, creando problemas que se solucionarían hablando dos palabras, dramas de mejores amigos, momentos de romper-volver-romper, diálogos clichés tipo “el amor te hace débil, por eso no tengo novias”, nombres absurdos (¿en serio dos hermanos se llaman Daniela y Daniel?) y mucho sexo. El estilo de Ariana Godoy me enamoró en Heist. Sin embargo, en este libro podemos ver que no es el mismo. Es mucho más sencillo e incluso diría que demasiado sencillo. No tiene nada que ver con esa historia llena de sangre, venganza y misterio que me enamoró tanto.
