Only quibbles I can think of are (and I'm only mentioning them because I know belltent constantly review the design) are: The tent is a fantastic buy, the only niggles (and they are minor) is that the guy ropes are a bit cheap (which are the same as the bell tents), for the price of the tent surely they could have put rope with wooden sliders on it like C&C do. The other one is that the mesh for the windows is on the cheap side as well. Structure: the fabric is made of beige 285gsm cotton canvas with waterprof pu coating and heavy duty of brown 540gsm waterproof pvc as groundsheet. premium galvanized steel tube for central pole and door frame provide a sturdy structural support. soft white mesh for ventilation and durable sbs zipper to open or close the tent. double sititching fabric and glue pressing ... Made of high quality cotton canvas fabric, breathable and comfortable. waterproof treated, you can use it in any weather, also in the rain and snows.all of zippers are sbs, high strength, abrasion resistance and durable.the zipper's tooth is not easy to damage. The Emperor is a fantastic tent! It is a tardis that while only a couple of square meters more area than a 5m Bell, that space is pretty much all usable. The pictures on Belltent.Co.Uk don't do it justice and while I have tried to remedy this, you simply must see one of these in the flesh to appreciate just how large it is.

The inside of this tent is really spacious, and with its roof heigh, it feels huge. Because of the air beam construction there’s no central pole holding it up, so the floor area inside is totally open with no obstructions at all, unlike traditional tipi tents. We where away for 4 days and I have to say she got an awful lot of attention from other campers and children who wanted to know if Harry Potter and Dobby where inside lol There are roof lights or windows in the bedroom section which have zip up blinds on them so if you don't want the sunlight coming in you can very easily close them. Also, above these windows we noticed a couple of ventilation panels that in the summer will help to keep the inside of the Lavvu cool and at other times, help to prevent condensation.
