About this deal

Most threshold installations are installed with the hump on the inside of the door, so that the ramp part of the threshold is outside the door. During heavy rain the water will run down the door and away from the garage because of the threshold. Not all installs are equal, if you lay out the threshold and installing it with the hump just inside the door doesn't fix your problem, then you can install the threshold where the door comes down centered on the hump, or with the hump on the outside of the garage door. You should be able to determine the best install once you lay the threshold down before applying adhesive.

Allow the ground to dry, and then lay the threshold down in position and measure the length and width. Most of our bottom seals slide into the current retainer on the garage door. To determine what type of retainer you have simply pull out a corner of your bottom seal to expose the retainer. Most standard retainers are a double or single channel. If you have a double channel you'll want to see if it's shaped like a T, or if it has an oval shape or round shape which should fit a Bead or P End bottom seal. Garage door strip replacement isn’t difficult. Just clean the area, mark the space where you plan to install the threshold, apply adhesive, and place the threshold. Close the garage door after installation and allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before opening it. Q. How can I install a door threshold on a concrete floor?Closes Gapsfrom 0mm to approx 20mm.
