Aura Garrido ( The Innocent) as Marina Quiroga, a girl with a detective's soul but who cannot join the police force. Why is the fact Tom cheated never elaborated on again? It definitely felt out of place that Meaghan wouldn’t have brought it up. It was just another sub-plot that didn’t really add anything to the story.

Garcia dazzles as Castaño in A Private Affair. His character is late to the party but not without surprises. The actor never seems in a hurry and offers enough moments to devour his representation. I felt he should have been given more screen time to further lure the audience. What Doesn’t Work for A Private Affair? The staging, in this sense, sometimes seems very unnatural due to its excessive theatricality. Everything is too high and clean, impinging on certain air of unreality that accompanies a ton of chronological licenses. Spain, at the end of the 40s, was immersed in Francoist repression and a woman with the freedom and cheekiness of Marina Quiroga would be inconceivable. Now, for some bad: (1) the show is full of anachronisms (as others have mentioned), normally not a big problem but in this case you start to notice them and they become a bit intrusive; (2) the main character actively and annoyingly avoids opportunities to reveal the bad guy on many occasions; (3) several times she switches from "this person must be the murderer" to "I'm going off alone with this person to find a clue" in a matter of seconds; (4) she has superhuman powers of recovery from serious injuries; (5) the ultimate motivation for the murders is not at all convincing. In my opinion, this show was fabulous and mind-blowing.This series has all the elements we want to see in a top-class series and in a good detective show. If you watch only the first episode of this series, then your interest will increase in this series. Its characters and mystery will start to interest you. The mystery of this series will keep you engaged from a decent start. And what are the investigation processes of Mariana and the actors of this show They are actually watchable? And you will find a fun kind of relationship dynamic between Mariana and Hector.

We cannot fail to point out the versatility of this actress, who here gives her character a much more stubborn, mischievous and clumsy nuance, separating it completely from her previous work. It could be said that she comes close to being unfriendly if it weren’t hers because with her innocent face she always gets away with it.

Within the first 15 minutes it’s clear the Tavianis have sadly turned a work of literary depth into more of a middle-brow romance novel with a standard historical setting. The caretaker hints that Fulvia and Giorgio did more than play piano together, causing an intense pang of jealousy that makes Milton determined to find his friend and learn the truth. Could his beautiful idol have besmirched his notion of her virginity by anything so vulgar as a roll in the hay? Milton needs to know, but when he locates the right partisan group, he discovers that Giorgio’s been captured by the fascists. What follows is a desperate attempt to find a fascist prisoner who can be exchanged for his erstwhile friend. I didn’t find anything wrong in A Private Affair. This is precisely due to the show’s ability to convince me wholly about the surroundings of the 1940s. The story is set up in the 1940s in Galicia, therefore the series has maintained a very vintage and chic vibe. The series takes us through how a young lady called Marina Quiroga, an upper-class woman, who hates how society works by giving men the dominating power sets out to prove herself and achieve her dreams by catching a serial killer who has been a threat to her city for a long time. She is also accompanied by her butler in this mission. Aura Garrido plays the role of Martina Quiroga whereas Hector the butler (a man who always can help Martina conclude the investigation) is played by Jean Reno. Tra di loro, uno con lo sguardo di ghiaccio, indecifrabile, da cui non trapela niente ma che trasmette un fascino gelido.

The creators of the series, Gema R. Neira and Teresa Fernández Valdés, allow themselves to dream and decide to ignore reality so that we plunge into a visually appealing mystery series thanks to the imaginative wardrobe and hairdressing department and topped off by Vanessa Garde’s musical mixes, which help create the right setting.A sense of trepidation crept over me while I was reading, that far off sense of fear that cannot be places. The series has a very cheerful environment because of the main character, Martina. She has a very chirpy personality that lifts the entire series throughout. She is a woman of opinion and does not want to be pushed over by society just because she is a woman. She wants to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a police officer. The series shows us how Martina and Hector overcome the obstacles and the prejudices they face as they go on their journey of investigation. As to the lead character. Well, it's not the actress's fault. She can only do what the director and the writer tells her to do. But the character is just incredibly annoying to the point we just had to give up watching after only two episodes.
