About this deal

Commander Luke could still be solid in an Echo Base list, where you can still use Force Push to do some silly things with Hold at any Cost. Sabine Wren Movement in Star WarsLegion is fast and organic as you send your troopers marching forward. Every unit has a speed which determines the jointed movement tool that you’ll use to move that unit. You simply align the movement tool with the base of the unit leader and move it to the end of the movement tool. The Rebellion is built on hope. With a hero focused army you will have big highs and you’ll be waiting for your moment. You will most likely want a minimum of 2 heroes in your rebellion list. What do I buy next for the Rebellion?

These units all do something interesting but probably have cheaper and/or stronger alternatives above. Lando Star Wars: Legion is played over the course of six rounds as you and your opponent duel over objectives on a battlefield of the Galactic Civil War. At the end of six rounds, the player with the most victory tokens (earned from objectives) wins the game. Using the same skills as priming, spray down the model with a gloss or semi-gloss spray. The gloss coat is done before the wash to allow the wash to flow easier. Before moving onto the wash, be sure to let the model dry. For washing the model, put some of the wash either in a water bottle lid or on a palette for easy access. Vallejo Coarse Pumice is a great texture for your bases. You can also use sand mixed with PVA (Elmer’s white) glue to get the same texture-type effect. Apply onto the base with a flat spreader, then apply a primer once the texture is completely dry. Padme– Padme is a fantastic support unit with multiple options and can also use that Secret Mission keyword to get you those extra points.Sabine did very well for herself at launch. After 2 duds in Chewbacca and Jyn, Sabine was a short-ranged and melee hero who actually could do the job well. She had Jump to get where she needed to, she had solid pistols with Gunslinger to combat multiple threads and she could equip the Darksaber and her own exclusive equipment to handle a variety of situations. With her Shield and Impervious she was durable too, particularly for Rebels. While she would later, be arguably overshadowed by Operative Luke she held a position in the meta for a decent period of time. August 2019 – Rebel Veterans and Tauntaun Riders I’m sure you’re familiar with the S through F grades inherent in tier lists, but we’re going to add a bit more nuance to those ranks: Today we’re going to take a look at a couple of “new” meta Rebel lists that have been getting play in recent events. This lists are interesting for a couple of reasons: 1) they are themselves counter meta lists for other factions and 2) they are all aggressive skews. Let’s talk about those separately. Counter Meta

The rebel veterans get extra spicy if you use recon intel on them, this make possible to get way faster to a nice position with the MKs and spend less time moving / being shot, also helps chewie to use guardian with all your team And of course, perhaps the most entertaining way you can customize your army is by painting and customizing your miniatures! All Star Wars: Legion minis come unpainted, so after you assemble your army, you’ll be able to paint your miniatures into something that only you could have created. Although you don’t need to paint your miniatures, many players find it more enjoyable to play with a painted army, and even if you’ve never painted an army of miniatures before, Star Wars: Legion is the perfect introduction to the hobby. Keep an eye on the support section below for Star Wars: Legion painting tutorials. When Echo Base Defenders was launched I got real excited, because the Battle of Hoth was a formative experience for me so building a list around the idea was very exciting. Within this expansion, you’ll find seven unique unpainted Rebel Veteran miniatures to add to your collection, including a Mark II Medium Blaster Trooper miniature that can be deployed as a detachment, offering valuable fire support to all of your units. Accompanying these miniatures are two unit cards, a selection of upgrade cards allowing you to outfit your veterans with new weapons and gear, and all the tokens you need to add them to your Rebel armies! Last time I wrote about getting started with Legion in a more general sense, but I’m looking to explore the factions more thoroughly to help people who have settled on a faction or are looking for a more in-depth look before they make a decision. I’m starting this week with my personal favorite faction: The Rebel Alliance. Difficulty: Easy to MediumWith a number of Heroes and strong units the republic is a real difficult army for any opponent to face. What do I buy next for the Republic?

Unfortunately, you do have to take at least 2 of these guys. You need 3 troopers, and your only other option is taken as a detachment to these guys. So let’s make the most of them. The empire goons love them some suppression. When playing empire or even thinking about play empire you’ll want to keep in mind that suppression (like the force) is a powerful ally. This is easy with Star Wars: Legion models, as the firing arcs are set into the base itself. The bases are then primed with Desert Yellow. Step 6: Drybrushing Fantasy Flight Games is happy to announce the Limited Edition Luke Skywalker Commander Expansion, available soon at your local retailer!Basically this leans into the fact that very few lists (except for Maul/B2 lists) run dedicated Impact weapons. GAR lists can capably handle some armor with ARCs and crit fishing, especially tanks, who rely on their save (Lethal goes a long way there). However, the Critical Keyword is unreliable when dealing with mass amounts of armor, and GAR lists tend to leave a lot of paint (hits) on the table when all their important targets have the armor keyword. 13 Activation STAPs also tend to rely on Critical for their armor hunting needs (via STAPs or E-5s’), and T-47s are one of the only units that actually out-ranges STAPs on threat range, so they make good STAP hunters. Units with small dice pools and no Sharpshooter 2 got hit hard by the cover changes, and Sabine is no exception. While she’s still fast and reasonably durable, and Explosions! still blows things up, it’s much harder to do real damage with Sabine on her non-Explosions turn, and that is a lot to pay 125+ points for. There is a case to take her with Ahsoka (for the teamwork card) or Clan Wren for Retinue (because of how solid and cheap they are now) but don’t expect Sabine to contribute to your offense like she used to. Han Solo When using chewie for guardian, he goes really well with portable scanners due guardian’s range, it is a really good combo with protector. (many times I kept chewie with one heath but shooting and giving dodges) We might as well continue the Echo Base theme here. Tauntauns have always been disruptive and annoying units, and now you can take them for their original cost again (remember when they were meta defining terrors?) You can also take four of them in Echo Base, and there is almost certainly some unexplored territory there. A Bistan Pathfinder unit also adds many more dice to the pool, increasing the odds of rolling a few surges to get those sweet sweet criticals. With Impact 1 that can be 3 or more hits against armor, which is nothing to scoff at!
