It has a cutout on the side which is really cool and even printing on the side and front. Next up we have Echo, aka Maya Lopez, who featured in Hawkeye and will also have her own series on Disney+ in November 2023. Echo is one of the most impressive minifigures in this series with incredible detailing across her entire body.

LEGO Marvel Minifigures Series 2 will have the unfortunate honour of being completely overshadowed by the transition from blind bags to blind boxes, effectively eliminating a tradition that has been in place since 2010. Oh and each minifigure comes with these stands and stalks that allow you to pose the minifgiures in dramatic and dynamic styles. Moon Knight is hands down the best minifigure of Marvel Series 2 and a strong contender for Minifigure of the Year. Moon Knight’s elaborate mummy-esque details are rendered amazingly across every single surface and it’s been a while since I’ve had a Collectible Minifigure make me go, wow!And last but not least, we have Wolverine, the poster-child of the X-Men. this is one of Logan’s best minifigure variants, with yellow and blue on full display here, as well as the short blue sleeves. Fans of the Hawkeye TV series will be delighted to see the inclusion of this adorable (but deadly!) baby owl, a brand new mould and one for LEGO animal collectors to get excited about. Next up we have Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye, one of the founding members of the Avengers and co-star of the Hawkeye TV series. He’s in his purple outfit here and features a new medium tan wig, first used for Olly from LEGO Friends. There are some bright spots, such as the high level of printing quality, and minifigure design which seems to have been elevated, and of course the sensational Moon Knight, which might be one of the finest LEGO minifigures that LEGO have ever made.

The boxes are well-designed and easy to rip open. They also rattle quite loudly as all the LEGO elements are inside the cardboard blister. Moon Knight is simply exxceptional, and one of the most detailed LEGO Minifigures ever. The printing is near-flawless and I’m amazed at just how much care and attention went into Moon Knight’s design. I do like the colour scheme and futuristic design, which looks generic enough that you cvould repurpose it quite easily for a sci-fi or space MOC. Highly detailed accessories - Each character is accompanied by at least 1 authentic accessory and a collector’s leaflet Agatha’s primary accessory is the Darkhold, also known as the Book of the Damned, a spell book containing dark magic spells, which even has a printed tile on the inside with the Scarlet Witch.

All in all, Goliath is a decent minifigure, but it feels quite out of place in this series, especially with Season 2’s release date up in the air, and only likely to arrive in 2024, making it quite hard to connect with Goliath.

Next, we have the long-awaited re-release of She-Hulk minifigure, based on her Disney+ series version where Tatiana Maslany plays the Hulk’s lawyer cousin, Jen Walters. I feel like characters like Hawkeye, Wolverine, Goliath, and maybe even The Werewolf could’ve been far better utilised on more important characters like the Scarlet Scarab, Kang the Conqueror, Loki’s Mobius, Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), Vision (from Wandavision), or even someone from Secret Invasion, or an OG X-Men character like Gambit, Rogue or Jubilee. His Civil War variant reuses Captain America's head from the same movie while the Quantum Realm variant reused the head from Han Solo's Solo variant. Marvel fans will love these 12 popular characters: Agatha Harkness, Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Mr. Knight, She-Hulk, The Werewolf, Goliath, Storm, Beast, Wolverine and Echo. Every mystery bag contains 1 minifigure with at least 1 accessory. Set contains 36 mystery bags. One of the Diseny+ projects I’m personally most excited about is X-Men ’97, a sequel series to the animated show that ran from 1992-1996. And my absolute favorite minifigures in this series are the three hailing from that show. Starting with Storm, aka Ororo Munroe, the weather controlling mutant and sometimes leader of the X-Men. Storm appears in her Jim Lee designed white costume. Other than the X-Symbols and the yellow striping, this look doesn’t require a lot of printing but, like Mr. Knight, the legs do contain some minor lines. The costume is topped off perfectly with pointed shoulder pads and Storm’s trademark cape designed to allow her to ride the wind currents that are under her control.Now all that’s done, let’s jump straight into the LEGO Marvel Minifigures Series 2 review! 1. Agatha Harkness What do you think of the LEGO Marvel Series 2? Will you be getting an entire set/box or hoping you get the minifigures you want by buying random boxes? The cape looks great, and so is her brand new wig, which has her hair styled up as a mohawk, which looks fantastic and contrasts very nicely against her darker complexion. His accessory is the Bloodstone, a powerful magical artifact that was central to the Werewolf by Night plot. Joining Moon Knight is Mr. Knight, another one of Marc Spector’s alter-egos. Eschewing Egyptian mummy garb for a more distinguished 3-piece suit, Mr. Knight is a more cerebral and levelled alter-egos and is dressed accordingly with a white mask, and sharp suit, all in monochrome white.

Here’s a look at the new boxes, which come in a larger box. There are 2 levels with 2 rows each containing9 boxes in each row. The print quality on her minifigure is on the same level as Moon Knight, with LEGO utilising nearly every single available surface. That said, the new She-Hulk is a superb LEGO minifigure and one of the standouts of Series 2. I imagine she’ll be a fairly popular minifigure from this series. Kang might’ve been cut due to Jonathon Major’s legal troubles and his uncertain future with the MCU, but the character selection is by far the weakest here. With She-Hulk best known for her fourth-wall breaking antics, fans will be delighted with her accessories. First, there’s a 2×3 printed tile with a legal file for Emil Blonsky aka the Abomination. The initials GLK&H (Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway) are for the law firm that she works at.This X-Men 97 version of Storm is outstanding, and captures Storm’s most recognisable look in stunning fashion. I do wish we got an alternate head with her lightning erupting from her eyes for an action-oriented alternative, which I think would’ve made this a near-perfect rendition.
