About this deal

SLS can be irritating on the skin if used undiluted at high concentrations. ( source) But keep in mind that Sal Suds is not a body care product. That being said, SLS is considered to be a safe ingredient in household cleaners and does biodegrade. ( source) Foaming Hand Soap: Liquid castile soap diluted in water makes a great foaming hand soap that costs pennies per bottle. Here’s how I make it. Add 1 drop Sal Suds mixed with water into the solution compartment. Because it’s biodegradable, it won’t harm landscaping. Additional Uses

I have a front-loading washer, and I used to have to clean it every few weeks or it would get so gross and mildewy – even though I leave the door open every time. (Don't get me started on how much I can't stand front loaders!) Since I've been using this detergent, I have had NO MILDEW problems at all! It's like it keeps my washer clean, too! A Note About Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds Pre-measure Sal Suds for load. Apply some or all directly to stain(s). Let sit 30 minutes or more. Add remaining Sal Suds to washer. For broad stain, spray with a solution of half Sal Suds/half water. Countertops & Tile: Spray and wipe with a damp cloth. Cleaning Stone with Castile Soap and Sal Suds Castile soap doesn’t provide enough grease-cutting power to be considered an effective dish soap, in my opinion. If you’d like to try using castile soap in this recipe, then you’ll want to leave out the vinegar, but again, I don’t believe you’re going to get the grease-fighting power most people look for in a good dish soap.Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds Liquid Cleaner is not a soap but instead is a concentrated hard-surface all-purpose cleaner. It is made with plant-based surfactants and natural fir needle and spruce essential oils, without any synthetic dyes, fragrances or preservatives.” ( source) Tbsp. (7.5 mL) Sal Suds in approximately 3 gallons (12 L) of hot water. 20 drops tea tree oil (optional). Dunk mop (microfiber, preferably) and wring thoroughly. On wood and laminate, avoid excess water and mop up wet areas. Spray appliance with All-Purpose Spray. Wipe with a soft damp cloth in the direction of the grain. Spray sink and sprinkle with baking soda from a shaker. Scrub then rinse. Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds Biodegradable All-Purpose Cleaner can clean just about any surface that can get wet! Compared to our Castile soaps, there's quite a bit of overlap when it comes to the variety of its uses. Because the products can often be interchanged, it's mostly a matter of personal preference, but the Sal Suds All-Purpose Cleaner is more highly concentrated and more clean-rinsing in hard water situations and slightly more effective on grease and tough stains.

Spray with All-Purpose Spray and sprinkle with baking soda from a shaker. Wipe in direction of the grain, then rinse. Ammonium Quaternary Sanitizers (Quats/ Synthesized Cationic Surfactants)– eye, skin and lung irritation and prolonged exposure can even cause death Please note that any product containing water needs a preservative to inhibit the growth of mould and bacteria. I use Optiphen Plus, a natural paraben-free preservative, in the easy homemade cleaning recipes. Conclusion Stainless Steel: To clean stainless steel without streaksI dilute a few drops of Sal Suds in a spray bottle of water. Optical Brighteners/ UV Brighteners– eye, skin and lung irritant and extremely toxic to aquatic lifeUse 1 tablespoon (15 mL) Sal Suds for HE washers. Halve these amounts for HE washers. Friend, I’m not here to answer those questions for you. In cleaning solution chamber, fill with water and add 1 drop of Sal Suds. Add 1 cup (240 mL) vinegar to rinse water (optional). Use All-Purpose Spray on carpet spots (use sparingly).

Face and Body Wash: Combined with raw honey and water, liquid castile soap makes a great face and body wash.Dish Soap: As a natural dish soapI dilute 1/4 cup sal suds in a 16-ounce foamer bottle. (Pre-made option: EcoMe DishSoap) Laundry: 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of Sal Suds concentrate per laundry load as needed. VISTA, CA– Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds All-Purpose Cleaner cuts grease and dirt for diverse household cleaning applications. Its exceptional cleaning power is complemented by the fresh scent of pure spruce and fir essential oils, while being gentle and mild on the skin. You know when kids get in a fight and you try to find out what actually happen but get a long story and multiple answers? That is how I feel when it comes to borax. Hydrophilic literally means “water ( hydro) loving ( philic).” This end of the surfactant molecule grabs hold of water. On the other side, hydrophobic means “water ( hydro) fearing ( phobic).” A little exaggerated perhaps, but this end grabs the oil.
