About this deal

Some scenarios, where the radiator must perform at its best, and depending on how much restriction this fan is fighting (filter, commonly intakes), and how good is the fan, then push/pull is required.

Once you’ve done that, take the lighting connector that’s attached to the fan and plug it into any of the ports labeled one to six on the lighting control hub. Take note of the label here as it’ll be vital to the light control. We recommend that you do it in a sequence to make it easy for you to remember. Thanks to AMD, Gigabyte, G.Skill, Intel, and EVGA for helping outfit our test systems with some of the finest hardware available. Revolution for revolution, the ML120s take a lead when our contending trios are both running at 1000 RPM, and by no small margin. It’s entirely possible that Corsair’s spinners are better-optimized to deliver more of their rated static pressure at lower RPMs. The MasterFans would seem to need more oomph to deliver similar cooling performance.

Extensive Control Range

I have previous model for corsair commander mini and it is working fine, perfect for my needs. I can setup each channel separately, setup curve to profiles or custom, based on different sensors (I have based on GPU). It works way better than mobo software. I had at some point also connected water temp sensor to it, but not used it for fan curves (I heard there were some issues in the past with older model, I would assume now it should work fine). I already have 3 RGB ML120s, and from what I can gather, the cooler comes with 2 more RGB ML120s and a Commander Core. You can set them up so they don’t spin until they’re needed, which allows you to enjoy an extremely quiet setup if your case isn’t too hot. This zero RPM ability makes them a good choice as cooling fans for AIOs. In terms of airflow, the LL120s do a good job as they’re able to attain 1.61mm static pressure and a fan airflow of 43.25 CFM. What Is Corsair ML120 Best For? How then, is the Commander Pro any better (for my applications) than the Commander Core included with my CPU cooler?

Generally, the performance-affecting components that will cost the most in a balanced build are the graphics card, processor, motherboard and RAM. Of these, the graphics card and processor are where you should probably spend any extra money you have. The other side of the lighting node pro has the USB connector, which connects to your motherboard via the USB cable that comes with the kit. One end of this USB cable is mini-USB while the other end features a nine-pin USB header. Also, there’s a SATA power connector that powers the lighting node pro. – Setting Up the Fan and Connectors You’ll get a new option that correlates with the chosen lighting channel so if you installed your fans on lighting channel 1, the new option would be Lighting Channel 1. I wanted to get some new Corsair stuff for more RGB on my setup, but I am very confused by all the different RGB controllers and junk you need.Neither of these are insignificant chunks of change, but you'll be left with a powerful gaming PC that should cope easily with the latest games for at least a few years, whether you're gaming at 1080p, 1440p or even 4K. This CPU provides a good overall level of performance that should hold you in good stead for a few years, especially in modern games that can take advantage of CPUs like the 5600X with high core and thread counts. Ryzen 5000 processors like the 5600X benefit from a big boost to single-core performance, making them from 15 to 20 per cent faster in some tasks than their predecessors and helping AMD cement a gaming performance lead over Intel for the first time in recent memory. Ryzen processors are also a great choice for content creation workloads, like transcoding or editing video, especially as their core counts increase. To take control of the ML120 Pro RGBs, it’s first necessary to tell the Lighting Node Pro that you want to control ML fans specifically on the channel they’re connected to. Presumably, the Lighting Node Pro works best with only one type of fan connected to each hub. Selecting a different fan type from the menu of available options will set the entire channel to control that type of fan; there’s no per-port customization from the RGB hub. Choose the wrong fan type and you probably won’t break anything, but your connected peripherals may act weird or not work at all. The 120 Series are small, but full-featured, laboratory pumps with simple intuitive operation and four pumphead options to suit any application. These fans run at low noise even at high loads; however, the ML series are louder than the LL120s. The ML 120s can go up to 30 decibels while the LL120s max out at 24.8 decibels. Yes, the ML120s are louder but that’s because they spin faster at higher loads and can reach up to 2000RPM compared to the max 1500 RPM of the LL120s. – Setting Up

Alternatively, if you need cheap RGB fans and don't care that they'll run at full blast the whole time, these EZDIY fans ones in the move a lot of air and look great.

BE SEEN NOT HEARD

Overall, I’m pleased with the animation smoothness and color saturation that the ML120s produce. The fans don’t have any trouble with tough “in-between” colors like oranges, and they can even produce a convincing white in a pinch. Since its inception, the LL120 has been a favorite among PC builders because of its low-noise performance and RGB lighting effects. The LL120 RGB fan kit comes with two RGB fans and an RGB lighting control hub that connects to your fans and powers the RGB lighting.
