Optimum Start learns how long it takes your home to reach a set temperature and then turns the heating on a bit earlier to achieve that temperature at the programmed time. Users can temporarily override the temperature set point and the current date and time are displayed on the screen The T3 has been designed from top to bottom to satisfy the needs of installers; specifiers; property owners and end users.

The installation sequence is intuitive and provides the installer with pre-programmed schedules; cycle rate option for different boiler types. All models have a maintenance alert. The thermostats in the T3 range are compatible with a wide range of boilers and systems including 24–230V on/off such as gas & oil boilers, combi-boilers and heat pumps.T3 thermostats cannot control electric heating.

The thermostats in the T3 range are compatible with a wide range of boilers and systems including 24–230V on/off such as gas & oil boilers, combi-boilers and heat pumps. OpenTherm control is available. T3 thermostats cannot control electric heating. The T3R Thermostat communicates wirelessly to the Receiver Box which is wired to the boiler. If the Thermostat loses wireless communication or becomes faulty, the boiler can be switched on or off manually using the button on the Receiver Box. Your Thermostat has optimization functions that aim to save energy while maintaining suitable comfort levels. The Thermostat displays during the optimization period if set. By default optimization is disabled, see instructions on the installation guide on how to activate it. OFF position has an integral frost protection setting at minimum 5 C so that pipes in the house will never freeze

Replace with 2 new 1.5V LR6 AA Alkaline batteries only – which should last approximately 2 years depending on Thermostat use

Wireless technology makes upgrading easier and the installation time shorter with less wiring involved. The Thermostat is powered by 2 x AA batteries, although a battery icon is not shown on the display during normal use. Repeat these steps to make adjustments to the remaining periods and days – or press to save changes and return to the home screen. Optimum Stop saves energy by switching off a little bit earlier than the programmed time. If your home is up to temperature, you will not notice the effect on the temperature, but you should see a difference in your fuel bill.
