About this deal

The name is on record since the 9th century, with Haduwig, a daughter of Louis the German. The name remained popular in German high nobility during the 10th and 11th centuries. Following the death of her first husband, Hedwig re-married to Hugh de Dagsbourg. She died after 1013. mogelijk onbekende dochter (ca. 870) , gehuwd met graaf Ekkehard, grootouders van abt Burkhard van Sankt-Gallen

Contemporary or nearly contemporaneous records of the completion of the marriage between William and Jadwiga are contradictory and unclear. [72] [68] The official accounts of the municipal authorities of Kraków record that on 23 August 1385 an amnesty was granted to the prisoners in the city jail on the occasion of the celebration of the Queen's marriage. [73] On the other hand, a contemporary Austrian chronicle, the Continuatio Claustroneubuzgis states that the Poles had tried to murder William before he consummated the marriage. [74] In the next century, Długosz states that William was "removed in a shameful and offensive manner and driven from the castle" after he entered "the Queen's bedchamber"; but the same chronicler also mentions that Jadwiga was well aware that "many people knew that ... she had for a fortnight shared her bed with Duke William and that there had been physical consummation". [75] [76] H. ciliata is a Nationally Scarce species and considerably rarer than H. stellata. It also seems to be more likely to be found on man-made habitats such as gravestones, sarsen stones and stone roof tiles. The Polish lords' envoys informed Jogaila that they would obey him if he married Jadwiga on 11 January 1386. [87] [88] Jogaila went to Lublin where a general assembly unanimously declared him "king and lord of Poland" in early February. [89] [90] [91] Jogaila went on to Kraków where he was baptized, receiving the Christian name, Władysław, in Wawel Cathedral on 15 February. [80] [92] Three days later, 35-year-old Władysław-Jogaila married 12-year-old Jadwiga. [93] [92] Władysław-Jogaila styled himself as dominus et tutor regni Poloniae ("lord and guardian of the Kingdom of Poland") in his first charter issued after the marriage. Bored and lonely at home, Frank goes to the library every day. He’s returned to the setting of his childhood but feels estranged from that part of his life, as well as from his parents. Moreover, he feels intensely conscious of his disability among so many able people, and worried about the prospect of going to normal school. Meanwhile, Ida, who hasn’t played formally in years, prepares furiously to give a concert at the Golden Age. The day of the event the emerges on the stage haughty and impressive in a new dress, slightly scornful of the humble venue but also anxious to give the best possible performance. The patients and parents are immediately captivated. Frank feels an unexpected closeness to and respect for his mother. Meyer is proud of both Ida and Frank, but as he sees other patients surrounded by large families he remembers his siblings and parents who didn’t survive the war.Gardes M, Bruns TD (1993) ITS primers with enhanced specificity for basidiomycetes-application to the identification of mycorrhizae and rusts. Mol Ecol 2:113–118 Lidja, the therapist, drowns in a sudden boat accident. All the children are devastated, because her death reminds them that “they [are] alone” in overcoming polio. Soon afterward, the Queen of England visits Perth, although she can’t accept gifts or eat food due to the city’s rising number of polio cases. Everyone—including Frank—is captivated the hubbub of her arrival. The Queen leaves the city uninfected, while newspapers report on Jonah Salk, a Jewish doctor developing a vaccine for polio. After thinking of Sullivan, Frank’s thoughts drift to Budapest during the war. For a long time he and Ida lived in a cramped apartment in the Jewish ghetto, but after a particularly large roundup by the fascist party that controlled the city, Ida hid Frank with her piano teacher, Julia Marai. Although Julia and her companion, Hedwiga, were kind, Frank felt “exposed” without his mother, from whom he’d never been separated. Ida missed Frank but felt things were “simpler now, alone” and she smuggled food parcels to Meyer, who was working in a labor camp in the Ukraine. One day at Julia’s house, Frank had to hide in the attic while Julia gave a piano lesson, and Frank was so frightened by the experience that he didn’t talk for several days. He married Hedwig (or Advisa) of France on Jan 25, 1016, daughter of Robert II, King of France and Constance of Arles.

Renaud I married (soon after 25 Jan 1016) HEDWIGE [Avoie] de France, daughter of ROBERT II "le Pieux" King of France & his third wife Constance d'Arles [Provence] ([1003]-5 Jun after 1063). The Annales Laubacenses record that in 906 "Adalbertus filius Heinrichi, ficta fide episcoporum deceptus, capite decollatus est"[102].

The nurses take the children to the ocean for an outing. Everyone enjoys it except Elsa, who has always lived near the ocean and is now reminded of things she’ll never be able to do again. Frank spends the day thinking of poetry and realizes that all his inspiration now comes from Elsa. Not knowing the children are away, Meyer drops by the hospital with a crate of soft drinks as a treat. Sharing a soda with Sister Penny, he admires her beauty and aloofness, while she senses the tragedy that lies behind his calm demeanor.
