The specimen preserved almost 70% of the skeleton, and included most of the vertebral column, the pectoral and pelvic girdles, the femora, and the left tibia and fibula. [6] A second specimen, consisting of a dentary bone from a supposedly larger individual, has been used to extrapolate a length of 13.2m (43ft), a skull 1.95m (6.4ft) long, and a weight of 8.2t (9.0 short tons). Some writers have considered the largest size estimates for both specimens exaggerated.
