Charging: Whereas the IQ2 takes six hours to reach full charge via USB, the IQC takes two hours via USB-C. The DaVinci IQC has 3 completely different modes of operation when it comes to temperature control, each having advantages in different situations or preferences:

Standard Mode — increases oven temperature when your lips are detected on the mouthpiece and auto-cools when the device hasn’t been used for 20 seconds.

Opening the top lid exposes the removable 18650 battery which lasts about around 6-8 sessions before needing a recharge. While the charging port has been upgraded to USB-C, it does take 2 hours to recharge, depending on the output of your wall outlet.

The DaVinci IQC Vaporizer stays well within DaVinci's usual design philosophy of keeping devices stylish, quiet and discreet. The body is made from beautiful sandblasted aluminium which gives both a nice look and feel to the device, as well as keeping things durable enough for day-to-day use. While the LEDs on the front can be a little hard to see in daylight, I love being able to control my high setting specific temperatures without the need for an app. For a device this small, the Pax 3 does pretty well. It takes 20-30 seconds to heat up, and while it’s climbing to temperature- you’ll actually feel it get a bit warm in your hands as it does. It's not exactly crazy hot, but it’s a bit uncomfortable especially on the higher end of its 355-420°F temperature range.Precision Mode. This mode allows you to set the temperature of the device to within 1 degree of accuracy, allowing you to get that precise boiling point you may need. It's hard to say you need another vape when you already own a few, but the best weed vapes these days are truly unique in their design that I keep collecting.
