About this deal

The HiTune X6s have been designed to deliver an audio experience that’s as comfortable as it is immersive. With an ergonomic in-ear design that features an oval-shaped stem, the X6s provide a smart middle-ground between conventional buds and short-stemmed earphones. UGREEN engineered the HiTuneT3earbuds carefully, outfitting them with Hengxuan Technology's BES2500 chipset and Bluetooth 5.2. The BES2500 SoC for earbuds is favored by budget brands like Soundpeats, as it improves seamless transition and makes hybrid ANC and AI Noise Reduction possible at lower costs. Because of these clever decisions, the ANC on UGREEN's HiTuneT3earbuds cuts down ambient noise by 25 decibels. The Qualcomm chip delivers a very crisp audio experience. If you spend a lot of time listening to podcasts or on video calls, the HiTune TWS Earbuds are a cost-effective addition to your travel kit.

The outcome though is a different matter, as they sound really good. This marketing video really hits the spot when watching it with the HiTune’s in. To say that the HiTune T3 looks like any other true wireless is not of much help – but they do look much like any other true wireless, specially buds that opt for the long stem-based design. Consider a meld of Oppo’s Enco X and Free2 wireless earbuds and you virtually have the Ugreen’s appearance.I’ve enjoyed testing many of them and the standards are high. Yes, there’s still a noticeable difference in performance compared to premium buds, but often, price matters. Redmi AirDots S– AirDots bass is more prominent but less full as the upper bass is slightly thinner. The treble more brittle, so you get a more V-shaped tuning. It supports only SBC. HiTune is less fatiguing, bass is more extended, less pushy. In the T3 buds' price range, the only real competition is UGREEN's HiTune X6 ANC Earbuds. They're grey and bean-shaped instead of white and elephant trunked, but are otherwise the same overall deal for the same price. Seeing as these wireless Bluetooth earbuds are so cost-effective, it makes sense why UGREEN decided to forgo the inclusion of a companion app. Sadly, this means that there's no equalizer to play around with, and you can't customize the touch controls either. Not being able to change the touch controls is a bummer because you can't change the volume level with the T3 earbuds' touch interface. Earfun Free – The Earfun free offers similar bass feel, but it feels more prominent because the treble is slightly more recessed into the mix compared to the HiTune while remaining clear. It transmits wireless audio up to AAC only. HiTune offers a clearer audio impression.

There is no app support, which would have helped in terms of customising the sound and features of the HiTune T3, but it’s also not a feature often seen at this price, so that is that on the feature front. Sound Quality With HiTune T2, UGREEN combines the latest acoustics innovation and enhanced audio-to-video synchronization. Let’s dig deeper into the earbuds to understand how good or bad they are. Crisp, punchy soundThe headline feature for the UGREEN HiTune TWS Earbud review was the Qualcomm cVc 8.0 chip which brings a level of noise-cancelling technology. UGREEN HiTune True Wireless Stereo Earbuds adopts with advanced Bluetooth 5.0 technology and Qualcomm QCC3020 chip, ensuring stable connection and high fidelity sound. Supports aptX, AAC, SBC for lossless audio transmission. UGREEN HiTune T2 employs a 60ms ultra-low latency to keep this issue at bay. A quadruple-tap on the earbuds takes you into the Gaming Mode, wherein you get expertly tuned bass, vocal, and treble performance. The Ambient sound mode works in making everything clearer, adding, well, more awareness and while it’s not the clearest or crispest performance, I don’t think that’s as huge an issue at this price as it would at more expensive levels. It’s effective for hearing announcements and such and getting a sense of what’s around you at the very least. Often the case lets down entry-level earbuds. Yet the capsule-style charging case for the HiTune buds is one of the best quality cases I’ve seen in this range.

Performance and immersion are taken to the next level with 70ms low-latency audio and dependable Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Style Meets Substance That’s not enough to sink the Ugreen’s party but it does serve to qualify the performance a little. These aren’t subtle buds in their approach but that’s not the direction they’re going in – these earbuds have a rich, warm and inviting presentation with clear (if slightly rolled off) highs, likeable levels of detail, clear vocals and a soundstage that’s wide enough to not feel as if voices and instruments are bunched together. In reality, this doesn’t perform as well as more expensive models, but it works very well in the HiTune buds. Build Quality Audio sync with video is neglibly ok, though I do notice slight almost unnoticeable lag. True wireless earbuds really struggle at times to match the latency of wired earbuds. Call Quality

Same aesthetics as the competition, none of the price pain.

The Ugreen’s 10mm PU+Wool Dynamic driver set-up carries a very bassy signature that might turn of audiophiles (if they’re shopping at this price) but might appeal to casual listeners. If you enjoy music with an emphasis on bass then the HiTune T3 provides that in spades, though there are positives and (slight) negatives to that approach. And whether you like PUBG, Fortnite, or any other shooting games, these earbuds could lend you an upper hand as they can catch and relay ambient sounds like footsteps and gunshots in real-time. Lightweight and comfortable to wear
