The RPM Line is designed for audiophiles who want to have the best quality available within its price range and are happy to live with slightly unconventional product design," Heinz Lichtenegger says. "The RPM Line’s teardrop shape plinth and non-rectangular chassis cause less resonance (as in high-end speaker designs) and the motor is free standing and isolated at 100 percent to eliminate rumble or vibration. There are many little audiophile features (such as spiked cones and inverted bearing) that target the product to the discerned audiophile.” Plan 1 includes Project Online Essentials capabilities in addition to Project for the web. See the Project Online section of the Project service description. Yes, it's not the most pristine sonic presentation you'll ever hear, but all the fundamentals are in place: timing is crisp, while dynamics are well developed and forceful when required. Team members with Project Online Essentials or Project Plan 1 subscriptions can perform the following Project Online functions:It has to be said that the adjustment is simple with the caveat that it is necessary to pay attention to the Anti-skating segment which needs more attention and nerves because of the really fine controls that change with especially small steps.

Microsoft Project Online is available in commercial, education and GCC, GCC High and DoD subscriptions. In 2022, Pro-Ject released several new turntables in the X Line. This includes the X8 Evolution, which is a true high-end turntable that features many similar components as its ultra-high-end Xtension 9 and Xtension 10 turntables; as well as the X1 B and X2 B, which are newer versions of X1 and X2 turntables but with "truly balanced connections.") The Project Essential III BT Turntable features a gloss-finish platter constructed out of MDF, rather than the original acrylic platter used in previous models. The decision to use high-quality MDF in the Essential III BT's construction was to take advantage of its acoustically neutral character. The plinth has been mounted on three anti-vibration feet, allowing for effective decoupling from the surface on which you have placed your turntable. The Project Essential III BT Turntable use a 9V motor and the new integrated grounding link that helps to vastly reduce any electrical interference to staggeringly low levels. The motor's premium, synchronous AC design is driven by a built-in signal generator that ensures optimal speed stability and keeps resonances to an absolute minimum. Performance and style is further improved by the new aluminium pulley.

Now, the idea of this will probably make some hi-fi purists grind their teeth, but the reality is that’s the way the industry has gone, and I for one fully support the idea. Project have been in the turntable game for quite some time now. Since the 1990’s they have churned out some incredible machines, and have built a very solid foundation and following that its no surprise they have decided to cash in on this new generation of music lovers! The Essential III is already a proven 5 star award-winning unit, with incredible features at a very affordable price; a very rare combination in the world of turntables. Project in all their glory have decided to further add to the platform with the introduction of the Essential III BT (which stands for Bluetooth) and in keeping with the rest of the Project range they have not cut any corners with the design, using an acoustically neutral, high-gloss MDF plinth and platter which promises the same quality of incredible sound they strive for. The built-in phono stage within this turntable has been designed to transmit a Bluetooth signal to any compatible device that is within a 10m range, allowing for connection to Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth-enabled Digital-to-Analogue Convertors, or Bluetooth-enabled sound systems. The Essential range came into being because the Debut series (which, as its name suggests was the original start point for the Pro-Ject range) crept up in price as more features and higher spec materials were used. The Essential range took parts from earlier Debuts and simplified the basic design. At the same time, Pro-Ject ensured that some components could be upgraded to bring the Essential performance closer to that of the Debut series. The Essential III effectively takes some of those updates and standardises them. The economies of scale mean that the price rises by a lot less than the cost of the upgrades as an option. All motors listed below are designed, and specified, for use with UK mains power supplies. Each turntable has a dedicated motor which can be found in the list below. The Essential III BT’s phono stage also features optional Phono and Line Level outputs, meaning you can connect directly to an external phono stage or a spare line input on your amplifier. Combining these with the intuitive technologies within the Essential III BT, this turntable will cater to modern needs through traditional technology.
