It is easy to feel conflicted about this memoir. On the one hand, it could be argued that Hutton was one of the few people who knew Freddie Mercury the best. Hutton met him at a gay bar in 1984 (the Bohemian Rhapsody film took poetic licence with this and some other events) and they were together until the singer’s passing in 1991.
