And listen, I think it delivers on its promises! The formula is amazing, and full of interesting skincare ingredients. Plus it’s fragrance and alcohol free, which is rare for heavy duty sunscreen formulas, especially with such a light texture! It is as promised super resistant. I tested it several times during my walks outside and my skin remained reasonably matte knowing that it was more than 40 degrees outside with a lot of humidity. I also find it pleasant to wear. You don’t feel it too much on the skin, it remains light and it is great under makeup. For me, it’s my ideal sunscreen when I want something that’s really resistant, but comfortable and also makes my makeup last longer. It’s a good makeup base, the foundation applies perfectly well over it. It does not prevent the skin from getting shiny during the day, though. The addition of Centella Asiatica extract (gotu kola), tocopherol, hyaluronic acid, witch-hazel extract, green tea water, etc. provides ample vitamin E and nutrients to the skin. Hydrating hyaluronic acid and glycerin, calming artemisia, soothing chamomile essential oil, soothing and brightening ferments.

A slight white cast on my fair skin, but it fades when massaged in. Under makeup, it doesn’t show at all on me. However, it may be more noticeable if you have a darker skin tone than mine. It also contains skincare superstar ingredients including niacinamide which helps tighten pores and restore healthy skin tones. On top of that, the sunscreen also contains reef-safe ingredients so if you’re looking for a sunscreen that’s moisturising and also eco-friendly, this would be perfect for you. As for the white cast, there is none! Truly, none at all! I am a pale white woman, so I cannot fully guarantee that this will work on darker skin (and sadly I couldn’t find a dark-skinned creator reviewing this sunscreen). But, I am going to be carefully optimistic in saying this should really work for darker skin, as there aren’t any mineral filters here which could cause a white cast. But in short, if you’re a fan of very nourishing and glowy sunscreens, my selection may not be a perfect match for you 😉 This is practically a skincare serum, considering all the ingredients it contains! In addition to all the antioxidants mentioned above (which also have other anti-aging and brightening effects), there are also moisturizing ingredients like glycerin and gluconolactone; soothing like allantoin, yarrow, panthenol; brightening ingredients like tranexamic acid, anti-aging ones like adenosine… In short, it’s a sunscreen/skincare treatment 2 in 1!It also does not contain parabens or any harsh fragrances that would be bad for sensitive skin for those who are trying to avoid these ingredients. Just so you know, Korean sunscreens are released pretty late in the year, which makes it pretty difficult for me to publish this article early, I’m not going to lie. This explains, for example, why I publish this article at the beginning of July and not before.

It’s a tone-up sunscreen, so there is a slight white cast. But I find the white cast rather light, I expected it to be far worse!You’ll notice that the vast majority of the Korean sunscreens I’ve introduced to you in this article are rather everyday sunscreens, to be used every day under your makeup (or alone if you don’t wear makeup). They know how to disappear, are ultra lightweight and comfortable on the skin. They are city sunscreens, in a word. They are not necessarily super resistant sunscreens in more “extreme” conditions with heat, humidity, sweat, excess sebum etc.
