Head up the steps from the kitchen area into the large inner hallway with a wonderful lounge off to the right with three steps down, relax on the sofa, cosy up close to the warming wood burner and watcha programme of your choicetogether in front of the Smart TV. The patio doors lead out onto the paved outside space. Also off the hallway you will find a shower room with shower and WC and a bathroom with bath and WC. Venture up the oak staircasewhereyou will find a pretty double bedroom and a large super-king-or twin size bedroom( please advise of bed make up on booking). Cross the threshold and head straight into the light and airy open-plan living space to unwind in front of the warming glow of the woodburning stove and Smart TV while the designated chef of the group gets acquainted with the fully-equipped kitchen. The ground floor features a beautiful farmhouse kitchen, designed to an exceptional standard, with a dining table that seats up to eight people, and plenty of space to rest with a warm cup of tea in the early hours. Make yourself at home in the open-plan living space, where a rustic fireplace and exposed wooden beams maintain the properties original character, providing an idyllic setting for curling up to watch a classic movie with your better half.
It is famed for its exciting maritime heritage and historic Barbican district, here you can expect to find fun for all tastes, with some of its most popular attractions including the National Maritime Museum, the Plymouth Gin Distillery, Hoe Park and Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park. The rural location was wonderful, peaceful and quiet. Perfect for exploring Pembrookshire. On arrival we found some delicious treats of chocolates, biscuits, bacon and eggs. which were a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The cottage has everything you need for your stay. Linn is so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond for us during our stay, even bringing us some strawberries and cream during the week! Ann and Mark are friendly and welcoming hosts, and we would highly recommend a stay at Clover Cottage.We arrived after a long journey and were greeted by Lynn who was a lovely lady who showed us round and gave us some information and said to go see her if any problems.

Unleash your inner historian and take a trip to the impressive Brough Castle, stemming from the 1200’s and later restored by Lady Anne Clifford in the 17th century, where you can also visit St Michael’s Parish Church near to the castle to learn more about the region or indulge in an ice cream from the Brough Castle Ice Cream Parlour.
Services - Mains water, drainage and electricity are connected to the property. Heating is by fuel oil via a condensing boiler. Making the decision to leave the independence of your own home or choosing the best residential home for your loved family member is hard, the choice at such a difficult time can be overwhelming. There are ample walks and cycle routes throughout the scenery, for example High Peak Trail, as well as easy access to locations such as Buxton, Bakewell, Youlgreave and Birchover, where you will find more amenities and attractions. Thank you for your review, we agree that the location of the cottage is great for outdoor pursuits! The cottage is extremely well equipped with good quality equipment, everything you need for a relaxing break. We took our own sunloungers down and this made sitting in the garden, overlooking the lake watching the paddle boarders etc.pleasant and comfortable. When the pontoon is completed it will be another asset to the property. A superb holiday!

However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things): Immerse yourself in the great outdoors with a two-footed adventure, where adventurers may take on the challenges of Scafell Pike and Helvellyn, while nature lovers can enjoy a stroll around Holehird Gardens' beautifully planted gardens. My elderly parents thought a shower mat in one of the showers would be a good idea, as the shower floors were a bit slippy. Welcome basket was a lovely touch. Everything was of the standard expected from a high spec cottage. The location is close to a huge sandy beach with views from the cottage across the fields to the sea.
