About this deal

In the past, Himiko was noted by her family and former classmates to be, "a cheerful, reasonable, well-mannered girl" whose subsequent turn to a life of crime surprised everyone who knew her. However, her own recollections imply that this was merely an act she put on to try and fit in with what society deemed "normal." She believes the way she acts presently is her own normal and that she shouldn't be forced to conceal it. [13] V. D. Launitz (1865). Über die Toga der Römer und die Palla der Römerinnen, Heidelberg; L. M. Wilson (1924 ). The Roman Toga, Baltimore; H. R. Goette. (1990). Studien zu römischen Togadarstellungen, Mainz. As Camie to Izuku) "Looks like we both want to learn about each other, huh? So now... Your turn. Why are you hoping to become a hero? Honor? Pride? For someone else's sake? I want to know... all about you." [30] During the the Final War after drinking a portion of Twice's blood, she was able to completely turn the tables by utilizing his Double Quirk to make hundreds of copies of herself to overwhelm the Heroes.

All For One • Cider House • Dictator • Ending • Gashly • Giran • Habit Headgear • Hanzo Suiden • Hawks • Kunieda • Kyudai Garaki • Lady Nagant • Mihaera • Moonfish • Muscular • Overhaul • Sludge Villain • Starservant • Steel Bulwark • Tajima • Yuga Aoyama However, through much effort, Ochaco finally manages to get through to Himiko and gets her to open up about her past and her true feelings, how she would get so jealous over not being allowed to express her love towards other people. During this, Himiko's emotions reach their climax and she finds herself unable to finish Ochaco off, instead becoming elated when Ochaco admits to finding her smile cute and calls her "the cutest in the whole world", causing the villain to finally stand down. Following this heartfelt exchange, Himiko becomes willing to sacrifice herself to save a dying Ochaco by giving her all of her blood, still unwilling to let herself be captured, but not wanting to let someone so close to her die, being grateful that Ochaco took the time to reach out and understand her, despite everything she's done.

Himiko is also prone to mood swings. When she finds a target of "affection" (mainly Izuku) she is loud and cheerful. However, when someone gets in between her and her target of her "affection", she shows a very cold, angered and annoyed expression, instantly switching priorities to kill whoever the nuisance is. Sad Man's Legion ( 我々は大勢で ( サッドマンズ ) あるがゆえに ( レギオン ) , Saddo Manzu Region ?): By using her Transform Quirk to duplicate Twice's Double Quirk, Himiko is able to create a legion of clones that take the appearance of several Heroes and Villains, whose blood was taken from the battlefield of the Gunga Mountain Villa Ruins. [22] U. Rothe (2009). Dress and Cultural Identity in the Rhine-Moselle Region of the Roman Empire, Oxford. Transform ( 変 ( へん ) 身 ( しん ) , Henshin ?): Himiko's Quirk grants her the ability to transform into a physical lookalike of another individual, as well as copy their voice. She can only transform into people whose blood she has ingested. The more blood she drinks, the longer she has access to that person's form. For example, 1 cup of blood lets her transform for a total of 18 hours. She can switch between the appearances of multiple people if she drinks the blood of more than one person. She can even duplicate a person's clothing, though, her own clothes would overlap the transformation, requiring her to get naked beforehand. The volume is divided into six main, thematically organized chapters, with an introduction and an epilogue. The Introduction presents to the reader the most central questions of the study starting from why the toga came to be such a quintessential symbol of being Roman, and the Romans the gens togata sung by Virgil. Rothe explains this, firstly, with the particular interest of Roman culture in visual spectacle, which made dress a vital tool for the expression of status in public. Secondly, dress was all the more important, as inner morals were believed to be directly expressed on the outer habitus of the person—a Roman was what he wore. This is why changing clothes meant changing one’s identity, as is shown with choice examples, like Mark Antony’s fatal shift from the toga to oriental dress. Rothe acutely observes that other Mediterranean nations, in particular the Greeks, never fostered a similar need to distinguish themselves by a particular ‘national costume’. The Introduction comprises a thorough overview of previous scholarship dedicated to the subject, starting from Launitz’s 1865 study and Wilson’s 1924 monography, up to Goette’s 1990 book, all with an art-historical emphasis. [2] The 1990s were a watershed in Roman dress studies, marked, in particular, by the publication of Sebesta and Bonfante’s 1994 compilation of articles dedicated to the subject, shifting the focus of the research towards social significances. However, Rothe notes that in this volume, Stone’s chapter on the toga, together with Vout’s contemporary article, reinforced the idea of the toga as a mere symbol, hardly ever worn in real life. [3] In more contemporary research, the book most closely in dialogue with Rothe’s is certainly Olson’s 2017 study dedicated to Roman male dress in general. [4]

Himiko is currently the youngest member of the League of Villains and the only female member following the demise of Magne. She is also the only female lieutenant in the Paranormal Liberation Front. To Tomura) "I'm Toga! Himiko Toga! Life is too hard! I wanna make a world that's easier to live in! I wanna be Mr. Stainy! I wanna kill Mr. Stainy! So lemme join you, Tomura!" [27]

GOOD SMILE COMPANY

To Mr. Compress) "Where do they draw the line? If Heroes are supposed to save people, then was Jin not considered a person? Will they kill me too? That's what I want to ask Izuku and Ochaco. Depending on their answer I'll be fine." [33] Himiko's surname contains the kanji for "migrate" ( 渡 , to ?) and "self" ( 我 , ga ?), and her first name contains "wear, put on" ( 被 , hi ?), "somebody" ( 身 , mi ?), and "child," which is also a feminine name suffix ( 子 , ko ?). [25]

To Curious) "I just wanna love, live and die my way. My normal way. I wanna be even more like the people I love." [32] Sad Man's Parade ( 哀れな行進 ( サッドマンズパレード ) , Saddo Manzu Parēdo ?): By copying Double, Himiko is able to replicate Twice's signature Ultimate Move, swarming her opponents with countless Doubles of Twice. [21]Upon deactivating her Quirk or switching to another disguise, Himiko's disguise melts into a gray viscous liquid. In the third My Hero Academia anime opening, " Sora ni Utaeba", Himiko was shown as a silhouette, foreshadowing her appearance to come.

Himiko is quite courageous, or at least very confident when using her Quirk, even impersonating an aspiring Hero and taking part in an exam that gathered thousands of hero students and multiple Pro Heroes. She also has shown a comedic and childlike demeanor when faced with different situations, such as when she was with Twice or when she attempted to insult Mimic. Concept art of Himiko already depicted her as an archetypal "yandere" (Japanese lingo used to describe a character who's dangerously obsessive towards another). One potential design included a different, plainer face with short pigtails instead of the messy hair buns present in the current Himiko design. She also had an entire row of sharp teeth instead of just prominent canines.Sad Man's Death Parade ( 哀れな死の行進 ( サッドマンズデスパレード ) , Saddo Manzu Desu Parēdo ?): Himiko endlessly clones versions of herself transformed into Twice with the express intent of killing anything in her way.
