Other than the cringeworthy setup of the book, there are some truly ridiculous statements that will have the reader seriously concerned about the mental health of its creator. Here are just a few examples: The book is full of inconsistencies. For example, in one journal entry they say to never have any interactions with evil souls. Never give them money, food, attention, anything at all. But a few entries later and the purpose of being on earth is to help bad and evil souls.

Permission should be granted by a Higher Soul of that Realm ( a Higher Soul is the King, Ruler of that specific Realm. The Higher Soul is the purest and gentle soul from all the souls there hence the annotation Higher Soul – Note this does not mean the other souls are their subordinates but comrades -) If you try to hide something from your partner, it may remain hidden, but you cannot hide even an iota from Almighty God, and His justice is always perfect. If you believe in it you will never go wrong. But these cases are not so often happening, and the amount of time staying in that higher realm is significantly low. Also, as I mentioned, you can only “leap” from Realm 5 to 6 and from 6 to 7. They need to wear protective cloaks for the bright light won’t blind them nor suffocate them. The cloaks also make the souls from the lower realms a little bit more light than they used to be.This dimension consists of various spheres or regions – from dark regions, so called hells, closest to the earth level, to increasingly glorious regions of the spirit heavens of natural love to the Celestial Heavens of the Divine Love. Progression upward occurs as the soul develops in its moral, mental and spiritual qualities. One’s soul condition at the point of death determines one’s initial position in the spirit world.

Khorshed Bhavnagri (born October 10, 1952) is an Indian-American author and lecturer, best known for her book The Laws of the Spirit World, which she says was dictated to her by her deceased son. God indeed exists but on a different scale than our conceptual theory. It is okay to ask questions on the spiritual path but replace your doubt with faith. Trust your spirit guides (Also from the moment you're born until you die; you have been designated with one spirit guide who guides you through the complete process of life. That means someone is always watching at you!!); Just like Waiting for Autumn, the book is about a man who meets a sage who has lived several lives and takes him on a journey through woods and mountians. All the while the man realizes how clueless he is. Most of the justice in your world is done by even the highest judges. It may not always be right, but God’s justice is always right because He knows you from the inside out. Denial can be an ugly thing. It makes people lose touch with reality, display absurd behavior, and can result in consequences that may never entirely go away. In some instances, professional help will be needed. If not, a psychosis could potentially ensue. Every once in a while, one will find that a psychosis is a desired explanation for the actions or statements of another since it makes their deviations from common sense and reason more understandable. Such is the case with the author of Laws of the Spirit World, the name of whom I have already forgotten.

Position Determined by Past Choices No one can of their own power work out their position in the spirit world. This is not based on the person’s will power, but rather on an immutable law. A human or spirit can and does, by their life choices, determine their destiny, but once this is fixed, it cannot be changed until the laws of compensation have been satisfied. And even then, the change is not brought about by the exercise of the individual’s will, but by the operation of laws releasing the person from memories which hold one to the conditions that their former life has placed them in. Have faith that all the decisions you make are the correct ones, that will lead you to your enlightenment, even if the results aren't immediately desirable. Believe this and it will be. According to the book Laws of Spirit World, the spirit world consists of seven realms, the lowest being Hell and the highest being Heaven. Each soul progresses from the lowest to higher realms based on what they learned from their karmic lessons.The book is intended to be a narration from the spirit of the author's son who died young in a car crash. As a spirit soul, he sent feelers to a medium to help it connect with his parents who found life without their (2) dead sons intolerable. By regular communication, the son's spirit soul not only helped the parents through their pain but asked them to educate other humans about living life through good deeds and looking at death as a mere transition into their real home... Help is, however, available from without. This help is necessary to cause the change, but will only come if desired and asked for. Without this help from outside the mind or soul of man, one would never be saved from the condition they find themselves in upon entering the spirit world. Many spirits who have been there for years are in no better condition mentally or morally than when they first became spirits. When the help comes, the individual of course has to cooperate with it. What is curiously interesting in this book is the description of the spirit world unfolded to us by (the souls of) Vispy and Ratoo. According to them, there exists 7 realms of life in the spirit world. While level 4 is the medium level where good and bad, dark and light co-exist (almost like our world), level 1 to 3 are darker worlds where sinners undergo punishment ; level 5 to 7 are holier worlds where good souls reap their rewards of leading a morally enriched worldly life through varying degrees of bliss and tranquility.

Bhavnagri’s son, Cyrus, died in a car accident in India in 1997. Bhavnagri says that after his death, Cyrus began communicating with her from the spirit world, dictating to her the contents of The Laws of the Spirit World. The book was published in 2002 and has been translated into several languages. Over time, Khorshed Bhavanagri learned the skill of communicating to the spirit world as a medium herself and she started regularly communicating with the souls of her children. She acquired the skill of Auto-writing (whereby the spirits dictate their messages and the medium writes down in a state of trance – and it could be in a language to totally unknown to the medium – in this case, in English that Bhavnagri didn’t know) . spirit souls in realm 5 upwards have no malice in them; they are guided by good thought and are mandated to help those on Earth or lower realms.

This is the same principle that applies in case of higher realities, where each soul is like a tiny drop of water being taken out from a massive ocean, in this case, the sea the God, which is infinite! A spirit who is filled with erroneous beliefs acquired from childhood is very difficult to teach and convince of truths pertaining to religious matters. It is much easier to teach an agnostic, or even an unbeliever, than a believer deeply steeped in creeds and dogmas. However, once a spirit begins to progress, that progress increases exponentially. As soon as the light breaks into one’s soul or mind and the individual sees a way to reach a higher level mentally, morally or spiritually, their desire to progress will continue to grow. With that desire will come abundant help, the amount of which will be limited only by the spirit’s desire. The individual’s will thus becomes a great force and power in further progression and in receiving more help. In other words, as the mind or soul of a spirit ascends, it not only becomes more rapid in its flight, but the outside help increases.
