About this deal

Every bike cupboard should have both a wet and dry lube. Dry lubes are for the driest conditions and cleanest chains. Yes you can. It is imperative the first application is done to a completely clean and dry chain. Then you can top up when you're chain begins to run dry. But remember not to over-applicate too often. It doesn't need it and a waxy build-up can occur. In general you should always clean your chain thoroughly before lubricating it if you're using conventional lube; lubing a dirty chain will just wash grit into the links where it causes wear.

Once on, Smoove stays on until you choose to remove it in a bath of chain cleaner. When you so, a great deal of dirt comes off with it. For this reason, I do this every dozen rides or so.I have half a dozen bottles of dry lube products on the shelf in the workshop, none of which have ever run out, for the simple reason that none of them work effectively so I don't use them. Typically, 40 to 60 miles is all I get before the grinding transmission becomes noticeable. In some memorably wet rides that's been even less.

This was about the same time I found out about SQUIRT, and learned that the same company had another lube specifically designed for motorcycles.Recently, partly thanks to the increased availability of independent testing data, waxed-based lubricants have risen in popularity among performance-minded cyclists. The performance of SMOOVE Universal Chain Lube requires correct application. Follow these steps to ensure you experience what we say above. If it's not the best chain lube you've ever used, you're not using it right! So what should you use to degrease your chain? SMOOVE Prep of course.
