About this deal

First up is what to do after each use, and like any machine you simply need to wipe it down, including the drip tray, the steam arm, and filter baskets as well as clean out the portafilter. You should also soak these in warm water at least weekly. So unless you get one of the fully assisted Sage machines, you may in some cases actually end up with worse-tasting coffee from using a non-assisted manual espresso machine as if it were a bean to cup machine. The Sage Vs Breville Confusion This isn’t a brag, but with so much junk online these days, you need to be sure you’re consuming the right information.

The Oracle Touch is a fully automatic espresso machine that guides you through each process and comes with a heated group head for brew temperature control. Unlike other automated machines where this happens directly in the cup, the Oracle textures the milk in the jug, allowing you even on the automatic mode to practice your latte art. The next generation fully automatic espresso machine.

On a longer term note, I would advise using the water filter supplied, especially if you live somewhere that has high water hardness. This will help limit the limescale build up, and keep your machine working perfectly longer. Usually, these temperature controllers are only found in high-end machines, so it's fantastic that it has been included here. The Oracle Touch, like the Barista Touch, features a three seconds heat up time, perfect for those who need their coffee in a hurry. Its integrated steel conical burr grinder allows you to enjoy freshly ground beans without mess or fuss. One amazing feature within this machine is the adjustable PID controller. That’s a fancy term for producing perfectly balanced espresso shots. A touch screen displays all activities except for adjusting the grind size. Options on the touchscreen include espresso, Americano, latte, flat white and cappuccino.

The Oracle Touch stands out with its classic brushed stainless steel hue. It has the familiar appearance of a typical coffee maker. However, its capabilities surpass that of other machines.

The Oracle Touch delivers superb coffee with a welcome helping hand but you may hanker for greater manual control

What are they? These are traditional espresso machines with partial assistance, to reduce the learning curve and the effort required.

Unlike the Oracle Touch, the Barista touch does not have a dual boiler construction nor comes with a heated group head for brew temperature control.Menu: Pre-sets for all the usual plus babyccino, hot chocolate, tea with 2 temp options & 8 customisable drinks If you started out with the Sage Dynamic Duo for example, the Dual Boiler paired with the Smart Grinder Pro, anyone who's come from using bean to cup machines or a more entry-level home barista setup, will probably find that the espresso quality they can produce absolutely blows their minds. Going up a level where the grinder is concerned doesn't give you the same kind of shot quality potential boost as with the likes of the Sage Dual Boiler. It's set to 9 bars, the PID might not quite be up to the level of the Sage Dual Boiler, but it's still a PID, so the temp stability is way better than with most cheaper options. It comes with standard baskets, as well as pressurized. It comes with the water filter holder & water filter, and a tamper albeit the lightweight plastic one which I don't really like but it's better than the plastic scoop tamper a lot of the cheaper machines are bundled with.
