About this deal

I don't want perfumes that dry out and can irritate to be used on my child's skin. I also feel sensitive wipes are less likely to have harsh chemicals contained within. What other baby wipes do you use and why? I use Sainsbury's own brand and Huggies. I don't have any preference I try different ones and I use new ones as long as they don't give a rash.

Would you consider changing from your current brand of wipes to Aldi Mamia Extra Sensitive wipes and why? Yes if I can find them in my local store Alison: The only thing I would change would be to make the Mamia Sensitive Baby Wipes bio-degradable. With all of the concerns about waste these days, knowing that the wipes were not contributing to this problem would make you feel much more comfortable in using them. Other than that the wipes are fantastic and highly recommended. The lid flap closes neatly, which is really important for keeping moisture in and bits of dirt and fluff out. The moisture was evenly distributed throughout each wipe and they’re 100% plant-based material with no nasties like parabens, chlorine or alcohol. These work hard on bottoms but are gentle enough to use on baby faces. Each wipe feels soft and moist, but they’re strong and sturdy enough not to fall apart during use.

It depends where I'm shopping that week due to discounts, type of food shop, etc. I use Tesco and Asdas and if on offer Pampers sensitive wipes. It leaves skin feeling so fresh that there’s no doubt some mamas will borrow these for make-up removal! Lauren: The price and quality of them are something to shout about. At almost half the price of other wipes, I use for my son they are a bargain. I've found using cheaper wipes before they are usually really thin or dry but these are amazing I haven't had any of the issues mentioned. They definitely keep up with other brands. I cannot fault the wipes at all. Would you choose this product to win?

Because changing nappies is a daily activity in and out and making sure my child is clean and happy is super essential. Moreover, wet wipes are very handy for families with children to help save the day! Charlene: Yes, I would recommend this product with no hesitation. I have used them previously too. As mentioned they are great value for money, well designed, made from a strong material to avoid your fingers breaking through the wipe which some well known brands have had this happen previously which is never a good thing.

They’re suitable for newborns, babies and children with sensitive skin and have been endorsed by Skin Health Alliance and Cruelty Free International. Looking for super gentle baby wipes suitable for the most delicate of skin? Aldi Mamia Extra Sensitive wipes, made from 99.4 percent water and fragrance-free, could be the answer. Charlene: This is a good product which has great design and quality and of course great value for money. I have used the Mamia baby wipes previously and wouldn't think twice about purchasing them again. I feel they are great value for money and made of a strong material which helps during the messy nappy changing moments Would you recommend this to other parents? Would you consider changing from your current brand of wipes to Aldi Mamia Extra Sensitive wipes and why? Have you used Aldi Mamia Extra Sensitive wipes before? If so, how did you discover them? No, I’ve used sensitive but wasn’t even aware Aldi did extra sensitive

The main downside of reusable wipes is that they need to be carefully and thoroughly washed. Many parents, despite all their best intentions, simply don’t have the time. Do baby wipes have an impact on the environment? They are really nice and soft and come out one at the time (unlike some brands which make you take out multiple wipes a time!) Have you used Aldi Mamia Extra Sensitive wipes before? If so, how did you discover them? I don't remember but I haven't bought them in a long time. I think maybe the hole where the wipes come out from could be a little tougher and this started to rip from the constant pulling wipes out. Rebecca: The only thing I would change about this product is sometimes I have found it difficult to get the wipes out. I can either pull one and end up with loads , or I can't pull them and end up with a clump of them. It's hard when doing it one handed when holding the baby. I have used wipes in the past where they are designed for only one wipe to come out at a time. As any parent of an infant can attest, baby wipes are essential for cleaning bottoms, hands, and faces, even some unfortunate pieces of furniture. We simply can’t do without them and, in the UK alone, we use 11 billion wet wipes each year. They live in nurseries, kitchens, handbags, changing bags, bathrooms, and the bottom of pram baskets. They are the unsung heroes of life with a baby.
