About this deal

But, here’s the thing: armored Kevlar leggings are an excellent weapon in one’s arsenal of motorcycle gear regardless of gender, so such products merit, at the very least, a good eyeing, right? Oh man, what a difference riding in your GoGo Leggings made for me yesterday! They were so comfortable, I was constantly in a state of awe everytime I moved, especially when throwing my leg over the bike. No constriction behind the knees, no tight bunching up in the hips, just a nice, relaxed fit like I was wearing yoga pants. Three for is like no other! Size chart is somewhat off and too optimistic. Additional leg-inseam options (i.e. short and tall) per alpha size would be awesome.

Most leggings will be fully lined with some Kevlar or Aramid fibre which is another advantage over and above half-lined jeans. Key Differences for Women They look stylish both on and off the bike and can be worn with either short baseball style riding boots or touring boots. They’ve been through the wash a few times and they haven’t lost shape or colour. I personally had to continuously remind myself of the cost of these leggings as I inspected the stitching so as to try to find any flaws anywhere on the garment, as low-cost motorcycle leggings tend to display their cost-saving bravado in their stitching. The Hypershield leggings passed inspection with flying colors.

The topic of motorcycle leggings for men is still a new one in the industry. Several brands have, slowly but surely, being launching unisex armored Kevlar-laden leggings with subtle hints as to their plausible use by males. Regardless, unisex motorcycle leggings continue to be embraced by ladies for the most part, yet not a lot of males are keen to wear armored leggings under their pants and trousers, let alone wear said leggings alone with no pants!

The stretchy material allows for free movement, and it is quite easy to forget that they are protective clothing. The Standard Kevlar range sits somewhere between the two other lines. Not quite as protective as the Elite Dyneema products. And not quite so easy to wear and comfortable as the Essential top and bottom. Motorcycle leggings are the newest addition for women and, in my opinion, are brilliant. They offer more comfort than standard jeans and keep your armour where it needs to be. ALSO NOTE THAT INTERNATIONAL DELIVERYS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO MAINLAND DESTINATIONS (Surcharges may apply) Now Dyneema is stronger than Kevlar. It is also nicer to wear against the skin, as it dissipates heat more effectively from the body. The composition of the top and bottom is 32% Dyneema and 68% Nylon. As with the standard Kevlar garments, the protection is all over, and not just in specific zones.

Women’s motorcycle leggings come in a range of sizing, leg lengths and rises to cover different body shapes. Although many manufacturers run true to size, be prepared to be flexible for the best fit. This may be affected by the fitment of armour, which needs to sit snugly to do its job properly, but not so tight as to affect comfort and mobility.Be warned that some clothing will come with ‘armour’, but it is actually just a piece of cheap foam and serves no protective purpose. Not too shabby, I should point out. The Hypershield leggings do look very good on paper, but will they pass our thorough reviewing and testing? Let’s find out!
