About this deal

The only weak point in the build I could find was the lid! Make sure you don’t over extend the opening. It feels as if only a little force could damage the closure mechanism. The Edifier X3 TWS earbuds are really easy to put on and wear. Once it’s in place, no amount of headbang will get it out, and that’s a good thing. I did not need to change the earpiece, but if you have smaller or larger ears, there are spare ones in the box for you to get your right fit. The Mid-range I’d describe as sounding balanced. They aren’t perfect but they aren’t terrible either. I think clarity has been enhanced with Edifier’s custom driver tuning. This tuning has, in the past on other headphones made certain sound frequencies sound unnatural, but with the X3’s they are perfectly balanced in my opinion.

And here we have tried to place it in a table. Actually, we did that to clarify for ourselves which functions the touch actually has. But the longer we look at the table, the more dizzy we get.Because the Edifier X3 are built a bit wider, it is more difficult to close the microphone input because it hits part of your ear. So that is positive again. Calling with the Edifier X3

In other aspects, the TO-U is the same as the regular X3. It has an impressive 6 hours battery life on a single charge and can be recharged three times via the case. The total charging time of an empty case and empty buds takes around 1,5 hours. With a slightly boosted bass and prominent vocals, the Edifier X3 is a good sounding allrounder suitable for most music genres. If you aren’t a fan of the pressure-like feeling in your ears when you use earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation, the passive noise cancellation technology on the Edifier X3 might be just right for you. IP55 Dust and Water Resistance There's a lot of body and space in the treble on the X3, and the sound can be a bit 'splashy' at times when playing cymbals or claps - something you can experience as a little hiss over the higher tones. This is also noticeable in the highest female or higher-pitched male vocals, which can come across a little bright. Unless you're turning the volume all the way up (the X3 can go quite but not extremely loud, by the way), the upper-mid tones and highs keep in control, but the Edifier is still a little brighter than most earphones. The drivers emphasize low-end sounds, something we’re accustomed to seeing in standard consumer audio products. The amplification is just above the threshold of hearing: we typically don’t notice changes less than 3dB and notes from 20-200Hz are ~5dB louder than the lower end of midrange frequencies. If you’re not one for numbers: just know that some vocal and instrumental detail may be lost to the amplified bass notes. That said, the Edifier TWS1 earphones perform exceptionally well for the price and make just about anything sound good. The Edifier avoids the territory the highest highs - but boy, it comes pretty close. There's a lot of body and space in the treble, but the Edifier X3 never sounds too bright or too harsh - even in songs with lots of violin play or cymbals. Instruments like those and also guitars and pianos, get enough room to shine.

The Edifier X3's microphone is fine for the price. It does its job. You can be understood by your conversation partners and that is the most important thing. For the visually impaired you may find it easier to listen to the blog rather than have your screen reader read it aloud. The Edifier X3 Review has been recorded as a podcast for you to enjoy at your leisure and to make our blog as accessible as possible.

Specifications

The sound is decent. But it does leave something to be desired. Let's start with the latter. The Edifier X3 does not have enough bass. The low notes are there, but they are underrepresented. Your most powerful song is somewhat weakened with these X3 earbuds. And that is of course a shame. If you are really a sound freak, you better go for other earplugs. If you press left or right twice, you will go to the previous song. With 3x left or right you go to the next song. Edifier has opted to double occupancy positions. At the same time, you cannot adjust the volume with the touch. Edifier could have added much better volume control. This has really not been thought about. Charging box

Edifier always impress me with the sound quality they manage to squeeze out of their devices. And overall I’m really quite surprised how good these are! Microphone Quality No, the Edifier X3 are not good and you better look at other brands for this price. Nothing has really convinced us that these earplugs are worth it. The earplugs are pure mediocre.

What Bluetooth codecs does Edifier TWS1 support?

Tai nghe Edifier X3 sử dụng chipset Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.0 với công nghệ tiết kiệm năng lượng tăng thời gian sử dụng. Đồng thời đảm bảo khả năng truyền tải tín hiệu ổn định. Every word from our editor is understandable, yes. But is it good enough for video conferencing? No. Often times, people who are going to use earplugs for business want a better microphone than this. The charging case has a 500mAh battery that will enable you to listen for a whopping 15 hours! There’s enough juice to last you a fair few days. And whilst we’re on the subject of battery life.
