About this deal

I found that the Dr.Brenner serum is more irritating on my skin than Skinceuticals. I found that the side where I usually apply the Dr.Brenner serum usually gets more red and irritable compared to the Skinceuticals side. However, this only happens when my skin needs a break from Tret, and the irritation usually goes away if I take a break from Tret for a day. If you are concerned about the health safety of parabens, then feel free to avoid them by looking out for the Paraben-Free icon.

If not, don't worry about it - they do have had one of the longest safety records as preservatives! Timeless says this serum includes 20% vitamin C, doesn’t state anything about the percentages of vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, or ferulic acid included in this formula. My Dad the Chemist’s review of SkinCeuticals vs. Dr. Brenner vs. Timeless vitamin C serum Not all Vitamin C serums are created equal, and there are multiple reasons that SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic serum is considered the gold standard. contains the synthetic peptide acetyl octapeptide-3 which is claimed to help reduce the look of wrinkles INCREASES SKIN FIRMNESS AND REDUCES THE APPEARANCE OF LINES AND WRINKLES: Our CE Ferulic serum boosts collagen production in your skin to help even it out. Although it is still on the pricey side, Drunk Elephant’s Vitamin C serum is still much less expensive than the coveted C E Ferulic serum. C-Firma has: Overall, I wouldn’t say that you need a dupe as the price point of Dr. Brennet’s vitamin C serum is unbeatable. It’s literally the one product that you need to have for your regular skin intake of vitamin C. All in all, I think the Paula’s Choice ingredient list and formula is a closer match to Skinceuticals than the Timeless one. Serum Color and Subsequent Oxidation

To help counteract this instability and to increase the effectiveness of the serum, SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic ingredients include: contains lots of additional ingredients with added skin benefits, like exfoliating pumpkin ferment and the antioxidant pomegranate extract I think they all have a similar consistency and absorb equally well. When I was doing the split face comparison I couldn’t tell a difference between how they felt once I applied the Timeless and Skinceuticals on my skin. Smell We’ve reached the end of the study! The yellow to brown tints are really starting to come in for most of these products. CosRX consistently ballooned and had gas build up again and more alarmingly, the formula seems to be separating. Discussion of Results Maelove Glow Maker / Dr. Brenner Vitamin C Serum / Paula’s Choice C15 Super BoosterI'm not going to go into this too much since that's not really the focus of the post, but you can read more about the research behind Vitamin C here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddiction/wiki/vitamin_c_recs Popular Dupes also contains dimethyl isosorbide, an emollient which helps increase the absorption of the product’s active ingredients There's still a lot of support for avoiding parabens following the better safe than sorry route. If you do we completely support you! I applied Skinceuticals to the left side of my face, and Dr.Brenner to the right side of my face every morning for 1 month, adjusting for irritation. I also applied the same sunscreen to my entire face after applying the vitamin c serums.
