Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. I use the grip with the battery cover and the 18a to c battery to shoot all day as others have said and it balances well with many of the long lenses I use on the D500. I pack it with Panasonic’s Eneloop rechargeable batteries (also highly recommended) and combined with the battery in the D500 the battery life with this grip lasted me a solid 9 hours (roughly 1500-2000 snaps). Just 196 shutter count and only the lack of original packaging and “new camera smell” would suggest it isn’t new! Everything worked on the Nikon grip, the shutter release felt right, the rubber grip feel was much better than the 3rd party one, and everything felt better built.
