This speaker offers more bass and higher max volume than our top pick, and it has a phono input to connect a turntable. Its boomy sound profile can muddy voices and dialogue, and there aren't any sound customization features to tweak its sound to your liking. However, this stereo speaker can still get pretty loud, though there's some compression present at max volume that can affect the quality of your audio during louder listening sessions. You can stream music wirelessly via Bluetooth or use its lone Aux input to jack in a CD player, PC, or other source component.

While the manufacturer says the speaker can reach a maximum volume level of 103dB, it could only reach a maximum volume level of 99. I did love the way it fit into my IKEA Kallax shelves with only about an eighth of an inch of space on either side and 3/16 inch of space on top.

Although, as with the One Plus, you can’t skip tracks on a thumb drive; you can only start and stop playback using the reset button on the back.
