About this deal

When Julianne Hillier arrives at her best friend, Piper Holden’s, sprawling beach front home, for their regular morning run, she’s surprised because Piper normally opens the door as soon as she arrives.

I love the 1971 film souvenir brochure which was very carefully sealed in a plastic bag, packed with a large piece of stiff cardboard before being shipped securely in a sturdy hard-cardboard envelope. As Carlie unravels the secrets of her mother’s journal she begins to see similarities between Andre and Rowan and coupled with ominous warnings as well as an ultimatum, she makes a decision that leads to tragic consequences. Lyra y nuestro protagonista se obsesionan el uno con el otro y viven una historia de amor complicada, turbia, muy emocional, pasional y cruda! What develops and unfolds is told in non-linear timeline and from several perspectives and which flows extremely well.I have been waiting for this book for a good long while and I can finally say that I have finished it and it did not disappoint. It’s been two months since Carlie left Australia to live with her grandmother, following the death of her parents.

Missing persons, cryptic messages, and a heaping helping of deception make up this delightfully twisted domestic noir from Fiona Cummins. Illustrated by hundreds of rare still photographs, Into the Dark conveys the mystery, glamour, and irony that make film noir surpassingly popular.I liked it, a lot, even if it's not as dark as I thought it would have been ( at least for me, guess my mind is kinda deviated at this point LOL).

They set out to find what happened to the Holden family and why Julianne seems a bit too eager to help them. DISCLOSURE: Thank you to Pan Macmillan via Netgalley for providing a digital ARC of Into the Dark by Fiona Cummins for review. Also how she is very mentally ill and they're just trauma bonding and finding that something that makes them feel safe enough to share their true selves. Rattle’, her debut novel, has been translated into several languages and received widespread critical acclaim from authors including Val McDermid, Lee Child and Martina Cole. Carlie continues her journey of love and friendship, building relationships, learning to trust and growing into a relatable lovable character.A family - the Holdens - disappears without explanation one morning, their house apparently just as they left it - school bags in the kitchen, cars in the driveway, a smell of toast lingering in the air.

The "golden" Holden family, Piper and Gray and their two teenagers, Riva and Artie, seem to have it all, so when Piper's best friend, Julianne, shows up one morning for their daily run and finds that the entire family has seemingly vanished without a trace - the kettle is still warm on the stove, the family’s phones are all charging on the counter, and their cars are in the garage - she knows something is wrong. Into the Dark is not as dark as its predecessors but it is as twisted, in a more domestic noir kind of way. multilayered thriller with lives and pasts colliding, with very complex characters with extremely complicated backgrounds and even more tangled relationships.I feel I should point out that the descriptions of the murders were quite graphic, not Karin Slaughter intensity level, but getting up there.
