About this deal

Fox premiered as the opening film of the 53rd edition of the London Film Festival on October 14, 2009, and was released in the United States on November 13, to critical acclaim, with praise for its humor, stop-motion animation and Anderson's direction. Selick, who kept in contact with Anderson, said the director would act out scenes while in Paris and send them to animation director Mark Gustafson and the animators via iPhone. This book shows the behind the scenes and director notes for one of the best movies ever, Fantastic Mr. I loved this book because it was really easy to read in my free time and it gave me the injoy ment of reading it to my neice.

Anderson named Kristofferson after the actor not just because he liked his work, but because he just liked his name that much. Filled with notes, sketches, photographs, and interviews from the making of the stop-motion film, Fantastic Mr.Ever since I saw that this book existed- a scrapbook full of pictures, concept art, interviews all of my favorite movie of all time- I knew I had to get it.

MacKinnon and Saunders were concerned, however, by Anderson’s insistence on giving the animal characters real fur, which has a tendency to twitch when animated, rather than sculpted fur, more typical for stop-motion puppets. Due to our automated warehouse it is with regret that we cannot check the condition of individual items. also eigentlich alles was interessant ist für jemanden, der sich für das Making of dieses Filmgenres interessiert. He can now appreciate the idea of living underground because he recognises himself to be a wild animal instead of at the beginning of the film having the idealistic naivety in believing himself to be a human and destined to live above ground. It's another gift that I am grateful for, and I plan on keeping this one to be a coffee table book of sorts in a future home. When it came to voice recording, if it was an outdoor scene, the dialogue would be recorded…well…outside. Foxis based on the book by Roald Dahl, the filmmakers decided to include various different nods to the famous British author’s life, including several design inspirations from Dahl’s own life.

As a lover of production design, I especially enjoyed the images that show the designers' desks, the methods of choosing colour to enhance narrative and visually describe each character. But Anderson was so enamored by the tangibility of real fur in Ladislas Starewich’s 1930 stop-motion classic, Roman de Renard (based, like Dahl’s book, on the medieval Franco-Germanic epic about a cunning fox and a menagerie of anthropomorphic animals) that he was adamant about using it in his own movie. Fox is a delightfully funny feast for the eyes with multi-generational appeal – and it shows Wes Anderson has a knack for animation".
