About this deal

Rose Wilson is a co-author pen-name for series set in the world of Olympus that are not family-friendly. However, Maz makes an effort to be civil with Reyna and shows signs that he cares about her, but she doesn't back down even a little. But he was treating her with respect (he was handsome), he protected her (he was also handsome) and so much more.

The world building was fantastic, and although the FMC tends to be difficult even when it is not beneficial for her in any way, The MMC is not without his stubbornness as well, over all throughly enjoyed the series and all the characters, Worth the read! I didn't get that with this book and I think it is because I didn't get to bond with any of the characters throughout the book because all the characters are just huge mysteries even after finishing the book. I'd recommend this book if you are looking for an easy to read, fast-paced romantasy book with fae and that has an enemies-to-lovers trope.Reyna is taken aback when the dark Prince of Snakes declares her as his betrothed and claims that he needs her for some unknown reason.

She can usually be found reading fairytale retellings, playing board games or binge-watching Netflix shows. I loved the plot but I just wish the main character was a little less childishly defiant and more bad ass cunning. age of this FMC was hard to pin down…so instances it’s implied that she is in the 20 year old range but some her wording and actions portray at much younger 16 or 17 being generous with aging…. Although I found it easy to get into the book, I can't help but feel like it's lacking something, especially when it comes to the dialogue.

But when he announces her as his betrothed, she knows that she must escape before she is eternally bound to the monster behind the mask. The old Scandinavian setting was freaking awesome, but once they got out of the Gold Court, it didn't really matter anymore. They didn't even get introduced to the Shadow Court until almost 50% through, while that should have happened around 25%. The one thing that disappoints me is because of the lack of world building and character building, I didn't get the same "couldn't put it down" or "I thought about reading the next chapter all day" feeling I normally love f4om reading. She didn't go overboard with the darker details but enough to give the reader an idea of it being a tough place for humans to live.
